  1. I also deal with CW. I did an online that was pending for a few days due to Songkran last year. I then got nervy and did a TM47 via mail which would have been about 10 days prior to due date. Then received confirmation for my online approved. Subsequently after due date I received all my docs back from the mail in and statement that my report was already done (online) Doing both does not derail anything.. My suggestion is do a report via mail asap.
  2. If you wish to do it in one day, personally I would use land border Nong Khai. If located in Bangkok flight to UT return will work. However as the saying goes ... Up to You..
  3. Same day! Yes I think a problem. Where are you planning to fly to. Where located in Thailand?
  4. Four visa entries all via air? What's wrong with land border bounce as alternative to entry via air. You could fly to Udon Thani or Vientiane and enter via land at Nong Khai.
  5. A visa run is exit Thailand and obtain a visa and reenter. No doubt you mean border bounce. Meaning exit Thailand and reenter visa exempt. Sometimes straight away. Which border crossing was this and how many border bounces has your friend made.

  7. No stated limit however with back to back visa exempt entries via air you will be refused entry and flown back point of departure. World of pain.
  8. First up very clear post outlining options I have never been sure regards option to obtain extension based on marriage OR dependant children. For some reason thinking that if you are married you need to apply for extension based on marriage. Some married guys might clarify.
  9. Correct. Also medical check.
  10. Travelled to Saigon every month for best part of 7 years. Most recent February this year. Read my previous post. The airline at departure will require onward flight if flying without a visa or reentry permit. Immigration at departure not an issue with or without onward flight. Immigration on arrival in Thailand also will not ask to see onward flight.
  11. Always an option. One bonus is the requirement to show funds came from abroad is not required Helpful in some cases.
  12. Your post makes no sense. You stated ..."Vietnam require proof..." Guessing you mean Vietnam immigration. Your post is 100% wrong Immigration inward and outbound have no interest in onward flight. Outbound from Vietnam immigration is irrelevant. However airline carrier may/will require proof of onward flight without visa. With visa or reentry permit no issue. Please stop incorrect posts.
  13. What you are trying to say is that airline at departure would require proof of onward flight. That is correct if flying visa exempt. However with a tourist visa or reentry permit that would not be required
  14. What are your 2 posts about. Folk from Pattaya to Cambodia have easy options . None involve train. Cut and paste from google not helpful
  15. No offense but you sound not too experienced. Best option would be agent providing border bounce service. Maneerat Soi post office would be one option. Plenty of others in Pattaya. They do mini bus runs to Cambodia. Advising on entry to Cambodia requirements etc. You also post ... "And it's 3 days away." You post tonight. It's not 3 days away. At very best you border run tomorrow. Naive thread.
  16. Which border crossing? You stated... "But for now I'm going to do a border bounce on 29th of this month,".... So two days time.
  17. OP, you will not be able to obtain extension based on marriage or retirement. Having used an agent you cannot show record of following the financial requirements. You would need to exit and reenter Thailand. Your options would be to obtain non O retirement or marriage at nearby consulate eg Vientiane OR... you could obtain ME Non O marriage from Savannakhet. OR ..you could border bounce and reenter visa exempt and obtain a non O marriage at Thai immigration office.
  18. Non O-A requires insurance. It's a visa valid for one year, however if you exit and reenter just prior to expiry you are stamped in for another 12 months so basically 2 years. The other benefit is no funds required to be held in Thai bank. You then have 2 options. Return to home country and obtain another non O-A. OR obtain extension based on retirement. That has exactly same financial requirements as extensions from a Non O ....BUT requires insurance UNLESS you do your extensions from the non O-A to based on marriage. Most folk (not married) find non O retirement better option especially if don't return to home country every 2 years
  19. To put above post in perspective. My recent trip to Saigon. Either airport is easy to get to via taxi or public transport. For DMK: BTS or MRT to Mo Chit and bus to airport via toll. For BKK: Airport line. My flight zero issues and 3500b return. Of course these are easy trips for folk living in Bangkok. For land border you could fly to Udon Thani or Vientiane.
  20. Thank for excellent report. I notice that 3 month Bank Statement was required. Bank book pages not acceptable? I didn't notice on your list most recent TM47 receipt?
  21. This thread is a good example where the OP started a thread and same as Elvis left the building. The status of the mother was confusing due to misuse of terminology. Ends up she had an extension based on retirement from a Non O (90 day visa) together with a reentry permit. Completely different animal to a ME Non O retirement (visa valid for a year) If OP, at the very least hang around for short period then confusion can be sorted.
  22. TM47 reporting can now be done online and the system works well. Indeed for frequent travellers your point is correct. In fact my first 7 years I never did one 90 day report. Wasn't until covid I started with the reporting.
  23. OP, you are asking about visa exempt entry into Thailand. Via air with extensive history there is always a chance of being refused entry. That's then a world of pain as you are flown back to point of departure. With a land border refusal is uncommon as there is a two visa exempt land border entries per calendar year rule. So less possibility of issues
  24. May be required by airline at departure if flying visa exempt. A "rent a ticket" will cover it.
  25. Your plan should be fine. Be aware that HCMC consulate requires appointment so you need to plan in advance. Spending some time in HCMC would be a good idea. The process is is overnight gig. The advantage of applying for tourist visa in Savannakhet or Vientiane is that if tourist visa rejected you can enter visa exempt at land border. With that option you could choose Vientiane (requires appointment) and take flight to Udon Thani. Depends where you are located.
