  1. Out of interest what's your plan if rejected. Report in person? Some folk that have never been to the Zoo aka CW don't realize it can be a troublesome visit.
  2. Think you might have trouble. Reports regarding Nonthaburi suggest they tell you to obtain embassy letter. Problem is UK USA AU no longer issue address verification. Also you have another issue. No rental agreement or even TM30 To test your options check out BSR bikes. Owner (Marc) helpful USA guy. Hence no communication issue. Yes they are bike rental joint but assist with COR, TDL, etc
  3. For one of my visits for in person reports after rejection for no reason .....I asked io reason why. She replied "need to wait 15 days +" I gave up online long ago. I did one in person Nov 5 and going to try an online 15 days early for next report. Thinking my chance is poor.
  4. You are not alone. Especially now that they seem to be requiring TM47 in person after travel abroad. Seems we are back full circle to situation pre June 2020. Have you considered reporting via mail.
  5. That's why I asked. Thinking you were living Vietnam at some point. A flight to Saigon for shortish stay and return via air to Thailand not an option? If concerned about risk entering visa exempt via air due to history you could consider "safe entry services" outlined in OP of this thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1345519-safe-entry-services-bkk-airport/
  6. IF the OP is over 50 he can can obtain Non O VISA based on retirement even from visa exempt entry. Seems he entered with Non O. An agent can (perhaps) obtain extension based on retirement (if over 50) So read the OP posts in thread and advise him of a plan.
  7. I'm not on your page. Thinking any change visa exempt entry 60 back to 30 days will be advised well in advance. Folk can make plans according. In any event the OP requires less than 60. Worse case OP can enter 30 day ve and obtain 30 day extension.
  8. Please stop nonsense. Direct your posts to assist OP. If he is over 50 he could obtain retirement extensions using an agent. Along with multi reentry permit might be an option. Seems the wife is uncooperative.
  9. That's exactly what I plan to do. Myself and you are maintaining the 800k in bank 2 months prior to application. I will have over 12 months of transfers from abroad. Informing immigration that I'm applying for extension based on income method. Have 12 month bank statement with transfers every month. Same date similar amount. Also making sure shown as international transfers and not Thai bank to bank. There should be no issue. I will then ask the head io lady ..."can I now withdraw the 800k and continue with the income method. Her answer will be Yes.
  10. Don't follow. I was replying to someone asking about requirements for first extension based on retirement. I specifically answered requirements for using money in bank method. Not income method etc
  11. For first extension based on retirement you should not need a bank statement. If you opt for that then 3 months would be fine. Immigration wants to see 800k seasoned for 2 months. Your bank book and photocopies showing that should be sufficient.
  12. Not sure what you mean. Visa exempt entry was changed from 30 days to 60 days several months ago. No indication at this point if will be changed back to 30. Sorta makes SETV dead duck in the water. The 60 visa exempt can be extended by 30 days. 1900b
  13. That should be what is required. Banks should not be stamping statements you print off from banking app. Nor should immigration accept them. Suggest anyone using Bangkok Bank order bank statements from your bank.
  14. Yes return with both passports. What you outlined is correct. BTW: where did you obtain the reentry permit. Jomitien? You can transfer the stamps anytime. Are you using money in bank method for retirement. https://aseannow.com/topic/1245494-entering-thailand-with-new-passport-and-visa-in-old-passport/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1171201-transfer-of-stamp-to-new-passport-at-jomtien/
  15. From an older thread asking about changing from money in bank to income method Here is cut and paste from ubonjoe. "You will need to keep the 800k baht in the bank for 3 months after you apply for your curren extension and then 400k baht until you apply for your next extension using the 65k baht income option.' Notice uj did not say need to take it back up to 800k for the two months prior to next application. You and I (it seems) have played it safe and covering both options. Money in bank and income. My reason (off topic) for changing is that will then maintain almost zero balance. Hit by bus then long term partner does not need to chase money from bank account in my name.
  16. Your plan is good. When you obtain the extension based on income (this Feb) just ask the senior io for what she wants. My feeling is that you could have done the 800k 2 months prior and 3 months after for last extension and not below 400k after that. No need to even up it to the 800k 2 months prior to next extension. However you have so you have all bases covered. I'm doing exactly what you have done. I plan to follow the financials for money in bank at same time monthly transfers. When I obtain next extension (Nov 2025) I will as io can I take out the 800k. Her answer will be yes.
  17. It's a simple process. Assume you will be in Bangkok. You attend immigration with some basic paperwork. In the main a TM7 form with picture. You can obtain more details if decide to go down that track.
  18. Bit confused. Others maintain that takes BBL up to a week to provide 12 month bank statement.
  19. Good point. Also OP could consider making it into break from UK cold. OP, be aware that your 60 day stamp can be extended by 30 days at immigration. Cost 1900b .
  20. Bumping your thread as didn't receive a reply. Hopefully someone with first hand knowledge will post. Here is short thread that makes some points. The other part of your plan re exit and at some point reenter visa exempt is fine.
  21. I asked as the airline at departure may request one if flying visa exempt. You have that so all good. Bit off topic but doing bit of research on AI answers (web) Below is AI answer to question of cost. So approx 5k -6k usd. Accurate? "In Bangkok, Thailand, an endoscopic brow lift can cost around $3,600 USD, while an endoscopic forehead and brow lift with Endotine can cost around $5,500 USD"
