  1. Might find this of interest. Perhaps trying to include 300b "insurance" with the TDAC..
  2. So you stated the following ..... "The one year, multiple entry retirement visa I applied for and received 18 months ago in my home country was an e-visa" Try and obtain another ME Non O retirement eVisa and get back to me. Plenty reports of that visa no longer available. Not that's it proof however I provided quote from @Tod Daniels and I bank that. Thread discussing this here. https://aseannow.com/topic/1352010-simple-question-for-this-idiot-about-non-o-marriage-multi-entry/
  3. I imagine 25 mins would be typical hire period for a jet-ski My guess is that you want to maximize fun time on the jet-ski rather than "take a swim"
  4. Do what you feel comfortable with however there was lot of rubbish with NK crossing recently. That is not related to your arrival at BKK.
  5. OK understand now. 45 days out of Thailand is not insignificant . Easy for me to type "don't worry about it you will be fine" The safe entry companies (couple listed in this thread) work fine however not cheap. If your flight from France is not direct that would be good. You could consider a SETV eVisa. Not sure of cost currently. IMO my guess is that you would not be denied entry at BKK. Perhaps questioned about itinerary so be able to show some accommodation etc Flight out within 60 etc
  6. Yes I recall. Where are you located? Perhaps consider border bounce to Cambodia using minivan border run company.
  7. ?? What is your passport country
  8. I recalled his thread regarding Non O-A some time ago. He types Non-o-oa. Means Non O-A. This visa is often referred to as "Retirement Visa" https://aseannow.com/topic/1340283-supporting-documents-required-when-re-entering-on-non-o-oa-multiple-entry-e-visa/
  9. Seems that you obtained a NON O-A Visa. That visa is valid for one year and is multiple entry. It also requires insurance. Obtained only in home country or country where you have Permanent Resident status. This thread is not about Non O-A. The OP is trying to obtain a Non O single entry. I don't know why as he can enter Thailand visa exempt and obtain a Non O at local immigration office. There is also a Multiple entry Non O which is no longer available.
  10. You are correct. I overlooked pretty important word. Ta. Some folk use DEE Money
  11. Very rare that immigration would want to see cash. With a visa it wouldn't happen. Bank application etc is useless. Again with a visa this would not be required. Visa exempt the airline at departure may require onward flight. Unlikely immigration on arrival would ask to see onward flight You are asking about METV vs Visa Exempt. Suggest decide on one option and limit your questions to that.
  12. WISE also do transfers of up to 2mil to Kasikorn and BBL. 1.5M to SCB.
  13. Can't see why onward would be required. You are not (imo) entering Thailand. You remain airside. For convenience I would print out your flight tickets rather than have on phone.
  14. That's exactly what will happen. Airline and immigration will only be interested in eVisa hard copy.
  15. Yes however 100% do not do border run without using minivan agent. Bangkok/Pattaya to Cambodia good option. Keep up to date with reports closer to time you need it
  16. METV allows multiple entries. You are stamped in for 60 days. You can apply for 30 day extension each entry. By exit and reenter just prior to expiry of METV you would be stamped in for 60. Then can extend by 30. Hence 9 months. After that a border run for 60 which can be extended by 30
  17. For a 12 month stay in Thailand I suggest a METV would be good option. That will cover up to 9 months and then border bounce for visa exempt entry using border run company can extent the stay
  18. It's not a visa. You are flying visa exempt entry. The airline at departure may require onward flight. Best option is within 60 days however recent posts indicate that within 90 would be possible by explaining intention to obtain 30 day extension. The METV would be an eVisa application. You will provide what's required in that application. Most likely flight into Thailand. Flight out within 60 and perhaps some accommodation details upon entry. Best to outline how long you plan to stay in Thailand for best advice.
  19. At CW up till recently a 90 day report was required however good news is that's not the case now. The items you list should be sufficient. If you have a lease provide it if not ok. At CW the COR will be mailed out to you. Cost 200b The COR will arrive ~ 5-7 days after application. Indeed a COR is required for TDL and bank account. My first post in attached thread has link to form for CW https://aseannow.com/topic/1328126-residence-certificate-requirements/
  20. Knock yourself out. Will achieve nothing. BTW: Can you add my complaints regarding TM30, TM47, etc etc
  21. That's what he meant by one day. BTW : I also have never received an eVisa overnight. I often obtain eVisa to Vietnam and that a 4-5 day turn around. In any event you can continue to complain or as suggested obtain the Non O in Thailand from visa exempt entry.
  22. OP, best to quit with the rants. If eVisa not working for you then enter Thailand visa exempt. Obtain a Non O marriage at your local immigration office in Thailand. After 60 days obtain 12 month extension.
  23. So what visa are you applying for? A single entry Non O marriage OR a Multiple Entry Non O visa valid for one year. In unrelated thread... @Tod Daniels stated..... "Since all the consulates switched over to the eVisa online web-portal the year-long, multi-entry Non-O visa (for marriage, retirement) was discontinued"
