Entry to Thailand starts your 90 day count. It resets everytime you exit. By way of example ...my next report date is 25th Sept. The thing is I travel to Oz in Aug. So that report 25th is wiped. Don't do it. I return Sept 8. My next report is due 90 days from the arrival date. Prior to covid I never did a 90 day report for several years due to never being in Thailand continuously for 90 days.

30 day extension of 30 day visa exempt entry
DrJack54 replied to Jetsam's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
No. TM30 is for change of address. If returning with same visa or reentry permit to previous address then TM30 not required. -

No. If you entered visa exempt you will apply at Laski mall. If entered with tourist visa you will apply CW What type of extension are you applying for? -
90 day reporting online - more questions
DrJack54 replied to Brian K's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You probably have had a gut full however you could do it by post and also continue trying online. Many reports of people getting couple of reject then an approval. I did one online and due to very slow reply (public holidays) did not receive quick approval so I posted also. After the holidays my online was approved. Later they attended to my postal report and it was returned with note on receipt that already approved via online. -
30 day extension of 30 day visa exempt entry
DrJack54 replied to Jetsam's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The TM7 is form for extensions. Extensions cost 1900 baht. Note the form is two sided. If you print it out make sure it's back to back. Form also requires a photo. -
Agree. Also if it's a low cost airline. Seems more commonly required in short haul flights to Thailand. Example from Vietnam etc.

Do I need to register to re-enter Thailand
DrJack54 replied to OzMan's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
@ozfarang thank you for excellent post. Do you happen to know if the airlines have any quirky requirements. I'm flying Jetstar. -
Not really as many have not been asked by airline for onward flight and many have.

30 day extension of 30 day visa exempt entry

What extension did you apply for. No TM30 requirement can be hit and miss -
First up imo you have sidetracked this thread. If you have questions I suggest you start with new thread Also best for your friend to post directly. As for your last last question regarding TM6.... They were only suspended approx July 2. Your friend should have a tm6 from previous entry and it could be asked for.

CW went with that briefly late last year. Not sure if it's done now at CW For my thinking I wish immigration offices would stay out of it. 90 day reports have nothing to do with annual extensions. My last extension (CW) November 2021 the io noticed my report was due and started doing one. I said no thankyou. I do myself.

Do I need to register to re-enter Thailand
DrJack54 replied to OzMan's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Hope I can add this here, may be of help to OP also. So I'm also soon doing a short trip to Oz. Regarding the "proof" of vaccination. Do I need obtain the "certificate" from my Morprom app or just screenshot my vaccination records on the app. Also concerned what airline (Jetstar) may require. Ta. -
Non O retirement extension

That's new. Is apply AM and pick up next day PM possible? Can't imagine where they conduct the appointment. That joint is an oversized telephone box. -
Non O retirement extension
DrJack54 replied to jphasia's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
As others have mentioned she could have used agent from elsewhere. Pattaya very popular. The stamps will be done up country. The reason for my quip earlier is that only 12 days left on current permit is too short. -

Non O retirement extension

Exactly. People that don't bother with the 3 month "come back Freddy" face zero consequences. There are couple of other offices that play this game.
