  1. That's the problem with these threads. Impossible to know status of OP. The thing is some OP start a thread then exit thread straight away.
  2. "retirement visa" ? What do you actually have. Annual extension based on retirement or valid non O-A visa
  3. No need to assume. You stated that you provided one photo for the TM7. That is a retirement extension. Actually in the written rules it's often stated 2 photos are required for things such as reentry permit etc. However it's the same photo. Photo requirements for extensions marriage was being discussed. . You also stated..... "My reply was in response to 1 particular post re CM wherein it was stated that 2 photos were required, with NO mention of whether they were required for marriage or retirement extension." That guy would be applying for extension retirement. Time for ignore. Stay on track.
  4. It's well know that photos are not required apart from the TM7 form for extensions retirement. When you posted that so relevant (not), the thread had posters pointing out the various photo requirements for extensions based on marriage. But thanks for your post of ONE photo required for extensions retirement. ???? From the second post in thread from @MJCM.... "No pictures needed of you and your wife"..... From another poster that quoted you... ".We were talking about pictures of man and wife, inside/outside the house, for a marriage visa,...."
  5. That is because you are doing extensions based on retirement. Try extensions based on marriage
  6. Is the 19 a typo? If not perhaps you can check out Health forum ☺️
  7. Best option. My guess is that with printed copy of confirmation just do your next TM47 in person and surely zero fine.
  8. Without approval you may need to do next report in person and possible fine (unlikely) . Your first mistake was making online report 2 days prior to due date. Window for online opens 14 days prior and fall back option in person up till 6 days after due date. That has come and gone.
  9. OP, you may have an aversion to use of agents but the more I think about your options, eg border bounce etc.... I think an extension using agent is good option. I notice you are located Pattaya. Plenty of good agents (Maneerat being one example) You already have the non O so an extension and single reentry permit would set you back ~15k . The bonus is ease of next entry and stay for next visit.
  10. You are correct. I jumped in with my reply too quickly. Assumed the RE is retirement. However it's just Re-entry on RE permit. You are marriage I'm retirement and think the OP may be Business All the same stamp
  11. He would need to have kept the 800k in bank for 2 months prior etc. But yes an option. If he had the funds in place he could do as you suggest and buy a reentry permit. Make next visit early. Guess he could even use an agent. Yes all extensions are 1900b
  12. Wouldn't call it a queue. At DMK it's an office immediately other side of passport control. Most times the office has zero people waiting. BKK might have a couple. Doesn't take long. At BKK they even provide an optional service (fee 200b) and they do the paperwork and photo.
  13. My read of the OP is that he is the tenant asking best way for himself to file a TM30. It's not uncommon that folk needing a TM30 for extension do not have fully cooperative landlord. The thread heading in part states ".... tenant to file as possessor.…." Then you state .... "I didn't have to make the trip to the Imm Office, and similar when I have non-Thai staying at my house to be in compliance with Thai regulations." Is that remotely addressing OP thread heading. The OP is not clear.
  14. Typo. Not border pass. Boarding pass from airline check in.
  15. 30 day extension not available. Only extension available is 12 month. If you were married to a Thai you could obtain 60 day extension to visit wife. Bite the bullet and do a border run reenter visa exempt 30 day stamp.
  16. That applies to obtaining border pass from airline at departure flying without a visa and plan to enter Thailand with visa waiver (visa exempt entry) . The guy you quoted had a tourist visa. The airline clerk should not have questioned his onward flight. Happens rarely but often down to clerk need to feel relevant. Nor would someone with a reentry permit be questioned by airline. On arrival it is rare that even a person entering visa exempt would need to show onward flight by Thai immigration.
  17. That's not correct. The tourist visa would give 60 day stamp upon entry. The 30 day extension will commence at end of that stamp. Usual policy is to apply for extension week or two prior to expiry of current permit. Edit: posted same time as BritTim
  18. If you live in/near Bangkok then Saigon is ripper option. You may even be eligible for visa exempt entry.
  19. Yes if picked up you don't get the option to exit on the spot. You would be arrested as per the recent publicity stunt by the police nabbing 3 or 4 overstays in .... was it Sukhumvit? Jail. Unpleasant.
  20. Exactly. Understand that English not always easy but this is OP first sentence... "Hello, I am in Thailand on a 30 day visa but i think i will have an overstay of maybe five or six days".... How can think "I will have an overstay " I asked for current expiry of 30 day stamp. No answer. For all we know he thinks he must to obtain extension in CM as that is where he is renting, however currently out of province. Who knows, all guess work. If he is currently on overstay he would know rather than state... "....think I WILL be on overstay....."
  21. What is the expiry date of your permit. Why don't you obtain the extension now. You do not need to do it at CM.
  22. OP, it varies depending on the office. Above post indicates CM is up to 14 days early. Some offices allow it earlier even shortly after arrival. BTW: Just leave out the "Visa on Arrival", there is such a thing but you (I assume) are asking about "visa exempt entry". That gives you a permit valid for 30 days.
