  1. That's my point. Many people make a trip to their local office sound similar to go for a coffee. For some it's a day long gig. Personally, I'm taking a short trip to Oz soon. No doubt will not receive a tm6 when return. Early next year need to renew TDL. TM6 not required? Let's see. Wish they left the tm6 alone.
  2. How so. I made a road trip from Koh Samet to MTT as required by Bangkok immigration to "regularize" my 90 reports that were skipped during "suspension". Anyway enough. You have your view. Stated already.
  3. Clearly you were not one of the folk that stopped doing 90 day reports when they were "suspended" during amnesty only to be told (CW folk) to report in person to immigration (MTT at that time) to update your status regarding 90 day reports. Don't put anything past Thai immigration and never assume any logic or forward planning.
  4. You should have already paid the 1900baht at the time they give you the under consideration stamp. When you return on date directed you will just be given a stamp. That's it
  5. Thanks for update. Hopefully all immigration offices will be on same page. I wonder if other things that previously required a TM6 such as TDL etc will also have no issue. If the "temporary suspension" is later changed back to previous mode ..what happens then.
  6. Why bother skipping it. The new online system works a treat. Yes it's only 2000baht fine even if you miss a few. Read post previously of a guy proud of fact that he can miss em all and pay 2000b at extension time if 90 report receipt required. Dill in my book.
  7. Registered what. Your address with a TM30? Certainly not required at CW. Surprised it's a requirement at Jomtien.
  8. First up thanks for detailed report. It's very disappointing that immigration played games with you. Covid extensions have been provided by the government and there is no reason for various rogue offices to play these games. FWIW ....I would have done the same as you and just paid the 1600baht for throw away ticket. If this is the norm at Laski then folk could consider the purchase of "rent a flight" from the net with such companies as 'onwardflight' for about $15usd.
  9. Very easy to avoid the threads on online reporting. For many people attending immigration office in person is far cry from visit to 7/11. It can take a day round trip.
  10. Yes. You entered on visa exemption and for extension to that 30 day stamp you attend Laski. Best to go week or two prior to expiry of your 30 day stamp
  11. You entered visa exempt. You will attend IT mall Laski. 3rd floor. There is photocopy place next door to immigration office. Short walk from Laski station red line. Approx 3 km to CW. You need photocopies of identity page and last entry stamp. TM6 if you have one (recently suspended) You may be asked for a TM30. TM7 form with photo and 1900baht Here is thread that covers some questions. Note the attached thread is when MTT was in use.
  12. No it's been suspended for all. My concern is what happens in the future. Sounds like you live in Thailand...so what happens when you require a residence certificate or TDL renewal etc. The things that previously required a TM6. I hope there is no issue.
  13. Which immigration office do you deal with. Some offices seem to be ignoring the new rule and it's not just up country bush offices. I think CM might be one. May have that mixed up but certainly was a large office still insisting on TM30 upon return to home address.
  14. Almost identical post recently. That guy also used "onward flight" rent a ticket. He left from UK was not asked for onward flight. He was flying to BKK via either Singapore or KL. Was asked by airline in that leg so used his onwardward ticket as requested.
  15. The weird thing is that my last one I had due date (obviously) and did the online report 14 day early. My approval (receipt) shows my next report 90 days approx from my previous due date. Don't know how that happened. Anyway even if we loose couple of weeks each report it would only add up to an extra report per year. The new system is so impressive and with the auto fill after the first couple of fields ... literally takes a minute.
  16. I actually was going to delete my reply as it's really about condo living. We rent in a condominium and it has a name. So I put that. We have a townhouse in Bangkok that has a Moo Ban name. I guess I would write that if we lived there. Perhaps someone that lives in a complex or house will give definitive advice.
  17. I use condo name. Not owners name. That works so will stick with that.
  18. Everyone states 15 before. Think the 15 includes due date. I prefer to do online 14 prior to due date.
  19. Or buy onward flight (rent a ticket). Current thread about this showing no issue when he was asked by airline.
  20. Proof funds came from overseas are only required for non O retirement application in Thailand. Proof of funds from abroad is not required.for annual extensions. When changing banks be very careful and I suggest you do it by bank to bank transfer.
  21. What area of Thailand would you be living
  22. Any trips you have to visit family for short periods (such as this trip) do it with visa exempt entry.
  23. Yes first register. They give you a ridiculous password but you can change that via forgot password or in your confirmation email. There is no TM6 number to fill in.
