All you are showing is fact your a poor traveller. I always have few pens. Not because I want to help people but so they don't hold me up at immigration upon arrival in Thailand. As I understand it CM requires 21 days remaining on your permission of stay to process application for extension. The 60 day extension would take you till approx 7th Oct. You won't be back till approx 7 Sept. However that gives you sufficient time to obtain extension.

The io is not making any sense. This 60 day extension is often obtained in Thailand to extend stay. Sometimes because it suits the applicant or sometimes for added time to season funds in bank etc. IMO the io is talking through his hat.

OP, in addition to photocopies of bank pages you also provided bank statement. Was this requested or just provided by yourself. You should not require photocopies of all passport pages. At for original non O......if in old pp that should not be required. The information pertaining to original non O is entered into first couple of pages of new pp.
