Considering retirement visa using income only
The minimum might be as simple as maintain the 800k for 3 months after extension granted along with starting monthly transfers from date of extension granted. Then can withdraw the 800k However too risky in my thinking hence my plan covers all bases

Rejected at Nong Kai border for unknown reason
Been discussed many times. Such an experienced traveller should know better. https://aseannow.com/topic/1280942-suvarnabhumi-immigration-entry-processing-boarding-pass-required-from-your-arrival-flight-18122022/ That thread is BKK. Other airports (eg Saigon) even moreso

Considering retirement visa using income only
Have never understood why someone using income method would transfer anything even close to 65k. Surely closer to 100k+ would be the norm.

Rejected at Nong Kai border for unknown reason
Ridiculous. As I stated in post above. The io overlooks the requirement as so many travelers are ignorant. As your post indicates. Don't understand the departure reference and pic. I'm referring to international arrivals as I did in several recent trips for arrival at destination and arrival return to Thailand

You should be asked every time. The immigration officers accept folk not presenting it as the requirement is so naively not known and MANY do not present it at passport control.

Considering retirement visa using income only
That is exactly what I'm currently doing. (CW) Most recent extension (Nov) using money in bank. Started transfers at that time. Will run both methods until next extension. Any issue with income method I simply continue with money in bank method. Regarding your question re proof of source of income.., That's down to immigration office. Reports of bank statement showing 12 months of income each month as funds transferred from O/S is sufficient along with reports of immigration wanting to see proof such as pension etc. Of course this refers to the 3 countries without "embassy letter"

The boarding pass should be presented along with passport to the immigration officer at pp control upon arrival.

Bangkok Bank statement doesn't show correct description for Wise transfers
@roquefort ...I just received a WISE transfer to my Kasikorn bank. On Monday I'm going to my bank for update and to ask about credit advice as for my next extension, my plan is to use income method. Despite always selecting "long term stay" I have ever received FTT code. Update Monday.

Yes. Referred to as "credit advice" Not sure why some transfers were not shown as FTT. Perhaps was done as internal transfer from another bank. In any event go to BB and they will advise course of action. Very long thread here and about 5th post explains what Bangkok Bank did for customer to satisfy immigration. Without doubt. And an outliner: Jonny Lang- TM47 - 90 days - "first time"
My first rejection reason was "no room #". That was out of the blue as I had never had Room number on previous online reports which were approved. The next 2 rejections I have no idea. When I questioned the io at CW, at the time did not understand her and did not push it. At that time there were reports of if don't receive approval after X days cancel report and do new one. Which I did after waiting 10 days. The io words when I went in person during grace period were "must wait 15 days" I'm over it.- TM47 - 90 days - "first time"
Weird. The TM30 has nothing to do with TM47 I'm bit tired of folk singing the praises of online reports. My last 3 have needed to be in person (CW) despite previous success online. The reports in person have not fixed the glitch.- TM47 - 90 days - "first time"
In my case I subsequently received approval from online. Later I received docs returned from my mail report. Had red memo on it. The gf translation was "report already filed"- TM47 - 90 days - "first time"
Not sure of OP immigration office. First up he should be able to do it online even with new pp. My suggestion similar to yours. 14 days prior to due date I would do mail report and also online. Doing both does not derail the system. If no positive success till grace period, I would attend immigration office in person.- Visa nearly expired while marriage visa under consideration
Relax. With under consideration period you cannot be on overstay. Even if your final stamp is past the expiry of current permission of stay that's no problem.- Accidentally dipped a few thousand below 800,000 but returned quickly???
Don't understand point of your post Use of an agent has been suggested already. Everyone is aware of agent option and even cost. The OP has funds covered apart from slip up that was quickly fixed. Also to complicate things his wife piggybacks from his extension (retirement) I suggest the couple skedaddle of to immigration to clarify their options.- Accidentally dipped a few thousand below 800,000 but returned quickly???

You would need to book quickly. https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/[email protected]/bookings/- Report on a 12 month Non O retirement extension at Jomtien Immigration 11 Jan 2024.
Thanks for report. I was under the impression that Jomtien had gone TM30 crazy. Good to see it wasn't required. Along with TM47 Regards bank book? Seems photocopies of pages were sufficient. No bank statements required. Did you use money in bank or monthly income?- In need of advice about my Visa Situation
You will be able to obtain a 60 day extension given what you stated above. This is your solution. 1900b. The 60 days will be added to your current permission of stay. In this attached thread there is some advice and I posted with link to another thread with comments from ubonjoe https://aseannow.com/topic/1313692-question-about-60-day-extension-of-stay-based-on-marriage/- In need of advice about my Visa Situation
If he enters visa exempt he would firstly obtain a non O and then subsequent 12 month extension. - Bangkok Bank statement doesn't show correct description for Wise transfers
