  1. Which immigration office requires photocopies of ALL pages of pp along with medical certificate?
  2. You can apply for extension with any amount of months remaining on pp. However the extension will only be granted till expiry date of pp. The extension starts from expiry of current permission of stay. Pretty crazy (imo) to have pp expiring in much less than 12 months time.
  3. Was this for extension based on marriage or retirement?
  4. You know your stuff. Isn't there also some sort 'order by government ' that deposits in Thai banks up to 1 million baht are backed by government. Maybe a dream I had.
  5. No. Proof funds from abroad is only for non O retirement obtained in Thailand. Not required for extensions
  6. The OP is asking about Non O obtained at nearby consulate. Meaning outside of Thailand. Some have pointed out obtaining the non O retirement at immigration office in Thailand also an option. Non O-A doesn't come into it.
  7. The OP is asking about Non O obtained at nearby consulate. Meaning outside of Thailand. Some have pointed out obtaining the non O retirement at immigration office in Thailand also an option. Non O-A doesn't come into it.
  8. Yes it does. Only variation is to return visa exempt and obtain your non O marriage here in Thailand at immigration and subsequent extension. Edit: You can obtain a 60 day extension to visit Thai husband. The 60 day extension would start from April 14. So that would work. You would need to buy reentry permit.
  9. Yes it does. Your example is clear. You exit and reenter just prior to expiry of the visa and you will be stamped in for 60 days. That permission of stay can also be extended by 30 days.
  10. The person you quoted was typing about obtaining a Non O retirement inside Thailand. The funds must be shown to have come from abroad so it is a requirement.
  11. You stated SEVERAL bank accounts. Find this quoted post from you very naive. I'm outta this thread from your post. IMO silly.
  12. Yes wait for ubonjoe. He can give definitive advice. Just my opinion.... This is a simple stamp mistake. Thinking CW will correct this quickly.
  13. I misread start of your OP. Didn't realize the he is Laotian. He should go to immigration and have stamp fixed.
  14. Not required. Maintain ONE place as your address on file for 90 day reports etc. Best option is existing residence (old residence) not the one you stay for work.
  15. Do you mean a new extension? Stamp shows very little. Two dates can just be error made on first stamp. . New pp has nothing to do with it. Were you stamps from old pp transferred into new pp?
  16. He should have the date corrected at immigration. Should not go back to Border to have it corrected by office where it was issued. In reality he could most likely just exit Thailand by air prior to April 6 without obtaining reentry permit
  17. You stated "several Thai banks" Good luck with that when dealing with immigration. I actually use 2 accounts. An FD account and savings a/c. Both with the same bank. How many accounts are you asking about? Also can't think of a valid reason for doing that. Makes job of checking against the financial requirements difficult.
  18. Correct. Was thinking of METV. Slip up.
  19. There are many threads on this and you seem to ask very similar questions. No such thing as retirement visa marriage visa etc. You would be obtaining a non O based on marriage OR retirement. You can apply for either in home country or nearby places such as Laos, Vietnam etc . You can even obtain either in Thailand from a visa exempt or tourist visa entry. Being able to obtain a non O without funds in Thai bank account outside of Thailand is no problem however the extension couple of months later requires funds in Thai bank account in your name only.
  20. TM28 is basically obsolete form. As stated you could have ignored anything to do with HH immigration.
  21. You should not have made a TM30 to HH immigration. You cannot have two addresses as your registered address for extensions and such. If Phuket immigration is crazy enough to want you to make a TM30 there when you return then so be it, however it's not required by the rules since June 2020.
