Yes read that. IMO I don't think they will check it closely. Possibly just look at name and address (to check address province) Worst thing is send you away to make a TM30. Your other option is to use agent. More appropriate for covid extension than a simple 30 day extension but that option is available. Note a post above where that guy was not asked for tm30 at Laski.

Re the TM30 it's one of those things where the answer is "may be required". Sometimes it's the doc check folk that just insist upon a standard list. TM30 being one. From some of your posts it seems you have some sort of print out from your hotel? Normally a hotel does it online and can provide an instant screenshot that shows it has been filed. Take along anything the hotel can provide. If all else fails you can check into a cheap hotel that can do TM30 online and provide you with screenshot.

Appointment lengths at Chaeng Wattana
DrJack54 replied to Gaccha's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thanks for clear report. Regarding the "one year bank statement" Are you using money in bank method and just provided a bank statement? I have always only required photocopies of bankbook pages at CW. -
You state .... "wants to extend the 30-day stay in Thailand after having arrived on visa exempt?" Since you entered visa exempt you will attend IT square Laski mall for extension. 3rd floor. The mall is located opposite Laski station on the Red like. It's about 3-5km from CW immigration. Mueang Thong Thani is closed.

If that's the case then you could do it there. However you would need to do a TM30 change of address to use that office. I had some friends from USA and same as yourself ran out of time with obtaining tourist visa in the states. . Came visa exempt obtained 30 day extension in Bangkok and then had trouble with immigration in Hua Hin for covid extension. Solution 5500 to agent and job done. The 5500 included the 1900 extension fee and no under consideration period. That's important. Your immigration office won't do the correct thing which sadly is the case in Thailand. They either want you to bribe (agent) or they just making their own rules.

Appointment lengths at Chaeng Wattana

It works a treat. Make sure that you are 15 minutes+ early. Often you are seen early. Make sure that you take hard copy print out of your email appointment confirmation. Personally I like to go hour + prior to appointment to obtain bank letter etc. Walk straight to counter indicated on appointment Do not go to main desk for queue number. -
Visa for new Retirement visa
DrJack54 replied to Robin's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
OP, you have funds in place to obtain non O retirement then easy option is to return visa exempt. You can apply for non O shortly after arriving with 15+ days remaining on your permit. The non O gives you a 90 day stamp. In last 30 days of that permit obtain 12 month extension. -

Indeed. I posted this at the start..... "Which immigration office " No response from OP and in fact zero contribution to thread. Every office has its own "rules". There is no one list fits all -
90 days report online
DrJack54 replied to jeff270476's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I do nothing. The receipt is in your phone. Take a screenshot. You do not require printout of receipt of 90 report unless you are applying for eg a residence certificate etc -
