  1. What permission of stay do you have in Thailand. Do you intend to deal with immigration. For example apply for extension etc ?
  2. You would do 90 day report using same address as your previous report. December hotel irrelevant
  3. I know who I would take notice of. Actually someone that is familiar with first hand experience. Just checked some Laos discussion forums and as expected not an issue. This is specifically referring to tourist places such as this thread staying couple nights in some random hotel Vientiane. No issue.
  4. I have seen that previously. Similar rules applied in Vietnam however that seems to not be enforced. Certainly not in tourist areas such as Old Quarter Hanoi and District 1 Saigon. Doubt if it would be an issue in Vientiane.
  5. Someone will be along with first hand experience. I know of a guy that got into some issues however that was staying with Lao gf family. Had significant issues. Vientiane....I doubt it very much an issue.
  6. How did you reenter Thailand. If you have a multi entry visa then no TM30 required. If you did order bounce and reentered visa exempt then you need to do a TM30. Edit: I just see now in thread you started asking about visa exempt entry from Laos. So in regards to your question regarding TM30.....you need a new TM30 when you reenter Thailand.
  7. For DTL in Bangkok they want a residence certificate or letter from embassy.
  8. I assume that you have done 90 day reports in the past at CW. By stating that ...."I just had my visa renewed..." Assume that you mean a new annual extension. Either way the desk for residence certificate will ask for your last TM47 receipt.
  9. It's true that requirements change according to where you live. You indicate that this visit you entered on tourist visa (60 days) When you enter next time if you do so again on a tourist visa or visa exempt you will need to to a new TM30.
  10. OP, which immigration office do you use. This is important.
  11. Take your most recent TM47 receipt. Immigration will want that for application for residence certificate. I'm in similar spot. Went to Oz last December and this week going to Vietnam. When return I need to renew TDL from 2 to 5 years. I will take along my last 90 day report.
  12. In this thread it's recommended not to use downloaded form at Jomtien. Weird. Some other relevant information in the thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1275382-doing-my-yearly-marriage-what-papers-at-jomtien/
  13. There is a 57 page thread on this topic.. Check it out. https://aseannow.com/topic/1265383-ltr-visa-is-now-available-for-long-term-residency/
  14. It's actually not so difficult in Phuket to open a bank account as it is in other places but still not simple on a tourist visa. Most likely requires a residence certificate. The transfer part from abroad is simple. Many folk use WISE.
  15. That appears as you pointed out but never read it enforced. A TM30 should be enough to show immigration for application for non O.
  16. There is recent thread of Jomtien dragon lady insisting upon money in bank for 2 months for non O. That is wrong but just shows what a nightmare some immigration offices can be. Does your friend have a Thai bank account? He will need to show that the 800k came from abroad.
  17. You won't need to. Stop worrying. Plenty of folk get eVisa everyday. In fact I'm going to Vietnam with one this week. Have screenshot of the evisa on your phone and email of confirmation if you have any concerns.
  18. That in reality is not a requirement at Jomtien. Just a silly request that when ignored has zero consequences
  19. I edited my post. Has link to coule of threads. Will look for one specific to Phuket. Sure I have seen one. Here is link Phuket specific. https://aseannow.com/topic/1226632-retirement-visa-non-o-initial-application-phuket-immigration-office-vs-bangkok/
  20. Money has to be in the bank on the day you apply for the non O . In bank for 2 months on day you apply for extension. This thread outlines process https://aseannow.com/topic/1284614-change-visa-exempt-entry-to-non-o-spouse-visa-in-cw/
  21. Maintain 800k+ baht all year round in a dedicated bank account.
  22. That is certainly the case for 30 day extension to visa exempt entry. Thinking that will also apply to 60 day extension to visit wife. Someone will correct if this is not the case You will need a TM30 to apply in Bangkok having previously been dealing with Jomtien.
  23. OP title refers to extension based marriage. He can apply for extension up to 30/45 days prior to expiry of current permit.
