Lost my 90 day report slip
DrJack54 replied to poppysdad's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
OP, don't see what your concerned about. You state that you did 90 report in person. If you obtained the bank statements for an extension, immigration won't be concerned about your 90 day report. -

Yes. So you paid 1900baht. No further payment, just return for your stamp. -
That's correct. Before covid the multi entry non O was available. Certainly not everywhere. As you know, was available in some places eg Savannakhet and Saigon etc. After covid some visas were not available eg METV and multi entry non O. Few folk asking if the ME non O is now available in places such as Saigon. Until we actually see reports of success in obtaining a multi non O then I just assume not available. You would have option of obtaining a non O marriage single entry from Phnom Penh. Not ideal. (PM sent)

The visa is valid for 90 days. In that period you enter Thailand and will be stamped in with a permission of stay of 90 days. In the last 30 days of that POS you would (normally) apply for a 12 month extension. This is a single entry visa not to be confused with a multi entry non O based on marriage. That visa is valid for one year and allows stay of 90 days per entry.

Have you obtained a 60 day extension to visit wife? If not then try uj advice. You mention perhaps going to immigration to explain is a possibility. Thinking this is good plan. Perhaps they may accept letter from doctor indicating that your wife is unable to attend immigration for the 60 day extension.

Bangkok Bank Online 12 Month Bank Statement

"......issued by BKB...." This is what OP asked... "Does anyone have any experience of using an online print off for retirement and whether Immigration accept them" -
TBH, personally never obtained a TV in Phnom Penh, however over the years reading about PP many suggest use of agent is best option. You must meet the requirements. Think Penang another one where agent is suggested as preferred option. Saigon on the other hand very simple and helpful Thai consulate. There is two recent threads regarding obtaining TV in PP and was a straight forward process and done without agent. Also one easy successful non O (single entry) obtained recently in PP.

The covid extension provides 60 stay. For first CE some offices date the 60 day from your day of application. It costs 1900 baht. How did you enter Thailand? If with a non O some offices may not give you a CE. As for your option of trip to Saigon and back think you need to consider how many days there. First I don't see that many options for direct flight (both ways from CNX). The Saigon Thai consulate accepts applications am up till 11.30am and pick up next day pm after lunch break 12-1pm. Most likely meaning 3 night stay. Regarding your statement about Saigon vs HCMC...yes all Vietnamese that live in HCMC refer to it as Saigon.

Bangkok Bank Online 12 Month Bank Statement
DrJack54 replied to JamesH's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
My guess that it would be a "no go" with immigration office. -
Confusing. Leave country and apply for eVisa where Which country. Forget covid extension statement. What are you actually asking about?

If it's your first 90 report you need to do it in person or via mail. Perhaps indicate if you intend to do it via mail or in person and immigration office.

Non-o Marriage covid insurance
DrJack54 replied to krobert6's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
At this time you require 10k covid insurance cover for 30 days. With no longer any Test and Go requirement, just buy the cheapest insurance available. -
You would be entering with tourist visa 60 day stay. You can obtain 30 day extension. You then need to exit Thailand and can reenter visa exempt (border bounce). That gives 30 days + you can obtain 30 day extension. That's 5 months. If required you could do a second border run + extension = 7 months
