  1. Bit of sore point with me re all what the players have to go through. I'm thinking more back to Qld bubble last year. It's a job and they get well paid. Get on with it. I'm live Thailand and haven't been back to Oz since covid. Guys I know in Oz haven't been to Thailand and have family here. Some with young kids haven't seen them for yonks. Get a kick and put on big boy shorts.
  2. That would be 'group quarantine' like a bubble?? Meaning they could still train?
  3. Heading out to jayjay later. I believe it was closed for a period during current restrictions. Will be interested in number of folks out. Guessing it won't quite be normal.
  4. Vietnam: hopefully their lockdown can buy time. Numbers levelled last few days. Strange that their daily vaccination numbers are so much lower than Thailand and Vietnamese population so much higher.
  5. He needs border bounce so out and back in. Possible with what you outline?
  6. OP, just a suggestion. I would forget about it. If your next extension is due this year just obtain the insurance and get the extension. Hopefully you can do the switch sometime in 2022.
  7. All figures have an 'adjustment mechanism'. Sometimes referred to as fudge factor.
  8. It's somewhere in the invoice list for the 71 million. Apparently Bumrungrad has a registration for Moderna available so there must be supplies coming
  9. It seems to me that you don't live in Thailand. That's basically is a food court. That serve a cocktail. How exciting. Show a pic of live music bar. Example BeBops Phuket town. Or Saxaphone Bar Bangkok etc
  10. Looks like no opening of entertainment venues such as the bars providing music. These bars are found in Phuket town etc. Very boring for tourists and expats that would be wanting more especially in way of live music. Seems same for places such as Pattaya.
  11. What did they claim vaccination levels were achieved in Phuket for the sandpit.......was it 70%+ ? Amazing.
  12. Down from recent Fridays numbers. In fact couple of hundred k. Must be long weekend or perhaps tired being end of the week.
  13. So for day 2 personally I would sign up for the 'floating market' then onto the 'Koh Lan Extravaganza' which includes packed lunch. Where do the excited tourists sign up. Make sure to purchase your personalized snap in the swimming section of kho Lan a must for every trip to Pattaya. Tiffany show of an evening would be a treat. Guessing no booze.
  14. 16th September. You might have issue. Here is post (current thread) UK passport with agent. "I have been waiting the best part of Two months for the return of my passport. So be careful how long you leave it before renewal.'
  15. ubonjoe mentioned something about Oz embassy passports recently. Think they have cut back the service and bookings not immediately available. Are you located in Bangkok. I don't know if emergency pp is treated differently for appointment.
  16. Hope putting question here OK. Phone experts can have a laugh at my expense. So..... Previous phone nexus Huawei. When I have site open example Thaivisa and then go google say Google maps etc.....I can go to square symbol bottom of cell and when hit all open tabs are there and I can just go back to any of them. Brilliant. So I purchased cheap cell..Infinix (not a copy) and it's fine for my needs, EXCEPT. .....when I have something open and then want google something quickly, I seem to lose previous tab. The gf tells me that I'm stupid and it's just "settings". Have looked and can't see anything to fix my issue Any help sooooo appreciated.
  17. For sure it's nothing to do with entering details incorrectly. Some folk think that once a report is done in person that the online goes out of wack. The explanation I have been given is that they are 2 separate systems of registering reports. The in person report details are uploaded (entered) to the online data base. If that isn't done then online report is not possible. Some immigration offices do enter the data and some don't. NOTE: This is explanation that I have been feed. I take it over the reason being extension renewal since I did my online successfully after new extension. I have walked away from my online relationship. Sure she was wonderful but unreliable. My new partner AKA "via mail".....is slow and very unresponsive but she always comes through. Costs under 50baht and you get free exercise to post office and I feel important when i get mail addressed to ME at my condo.
  18. Think your referring to extensions to a non O-A (not a visa). Insurance not difficult. Extensions to non O retirement no insurance required.
  19. Always nice to see long term supporters (suffering) win the ultimate. Lions (bears) Sydney (swan) and Recently Dogs. Think their one previous to that was 1954....? I would love Ronald Dale see one GF for D. Well into 80,s now so "It's Time"
  20. Bars are not allowed to open so closing hours bit irrelevant.
  21. Always nice to see drop in # folk serious condition and ventilators.
  22. First up I'm a Carlton supporter. Started after 1964 gf Dees won. Our family was Melbourne. I was a pup. Dad followed Barassi to Blues 1965 and naturally I went along. Big call from changing from team that just won a flag to team that finished 10 in the then 12 team VFL. You sound like Melbourne have won flag already. Keep lid on it. The Cats have had an unbelievable record of sustained success. Remarkable. Yes giving up 3 first round for Cameron was huge. They certainly need big review now. They have couple of real good young players that they need to talk to and sign. Something along the lines of....'you will get games (plenty) in 2022'. Go Demons. Always good to see minor premiers take it off. A Dee Dog gf would be nice, however think Port will book spot today.
