  1. What dealings do you need to have with immigration.
  2. The guy you quoted deals with Kamphaeng Phet. The OP is dealing with CW. The guy you quoted with mobility and breathing issues would have VERY different report if dealing with CW. The carpark to immigration office would be major task. The system is broken
  3. The online 90 day reporting is a broken system. Best thing that occured in recent years (June 2020) was that TM30 was no longer required for stays in another provience or travel abroad. Only for change of address. So now we have reports concerning online reports. Seems down to marrying TM30 with online reporting. I'm not about to deal with broken system. No TM30 or TM47 reporting for me. Same address for 12+ years and travel often including abroad. Will cop 2000b fine for next annual extension end 2025 happily for not filing TM47..
  4. I was addressing the post that suggested .... "Anyone can take your form in, even a taxi driver." Have you even been to CW for a 90 day report. Granted with online appointment can be done quickly. Without can take quite some time. Just leave the meter running.
  5. Rather mindless post. There are many expats living in Thailand with age/health/mobility issues. Some live very far from immigration. CW for example is a massive building and even from carport to immigration desks is a serious task for some. With online reporting hit and miss and currently seems more miss, it's not a simple as you suggest. Your follow up post stating .... "Anyone can take your form in, even a taxi driver." That's a joke right.. Try that at eg CW.
  6. Trolling post removed
  7. Obtaining the 30 day extension first is if you want to obtain both a 30 day extension and also 60 extension to visit wife. You do not have to obtain 30 extension to say visa exempt or tourist visa.. You can skip the 30 day and just obtain the 60.
  8. Indeed very hit and miss. My observation is that low cost airlines seem more strict and also the route, eg Saigon to Bangkok with AirAsia always looking for my reentry permit..
  9. Each border run would provide 60 day visa exempt entry and for each one you could obtain 60 day extension to visit wife. I can see how you came up with the 240. Note: wife needs to attend immigration with you for the 60 day extension.
  10. The OP is referring to 60 day extension to visit wife. One extension per entry on new visa or visa exempt. What is your status currently in Thailand?
  11. Excellent. Was good idea to cover both money in bank and income method. Covering all bases..
  12. Get off the point scoring. I asked the OP to clearly state what he provided today for his extension. The details would assist the forum.
  13. Seems most offices don't check funds when attending for final stamp. Which immigration office
  14. Actually sorry you removed your list. Very detailed and good list to advise on retirements for annual extension.
  15. He has done application. Just returning for final stamp after under consideration period.
  16. Just your passport. Take along bank book. Most likely not required
  17. The extension you obtained today... What did you show immigration for the previous 12 months for this extension today.
  18. Yes. However for peace of mind run it past your immigration office. Which is? Edit: read first post in attached thread from ubonjoe. He has different take on it and when that's happens equates to I'm wrong Mind you the io (senior) at CW was clear. https://aseannow.com/topic/1232496-change-from-800k-bank-balance-to-65k-per-month/ Check with your immigration office.
  19. That sentence has been started a zillion times. Very easy to set limits if they wish. They even recently one clear rule re visa exempt entry via land borders which was 2 per calendar year. Perhaps this is making things too clear for farang let's make it more confusing and use the word "unlimited"
  20. Since you will be able to show 12 monthly transfers of 65k+ all good. You also need to maintain the 800k for 3 months after approval of current extension. You could run your plan past you immigration office for peace of mind Check my post about chat with immigration officer at CW Nov 5
  21. To each their own. Extensions from a non O-A have some specific requirements. Guys on extensions from Non O can choose to have what cover they want along with no insurance if that's their choice.
  22. Think it was the way the OP expressed it. I take it he is coming off extension based on retirement. I'm doing same thing and my most recent extension (CW) was done on Nov 5. I had discussion with head io rear of L32. I told her I have been making monthly transfers and will continue till time for next extension and show 12+ monthly transfers. Her reply...."no problem. Make sure 800k stay in bank for 3 months" That was already my understanding.
  23. I think you are meaning a "border bounce" indeed sometimes referred to as visa run. Indian nationals now can receive a 60 day visa exempt entry. This initially was till Nov 11, however this was changed and seems will continue to be available indefinitely.
