  1. I think those comparisons are perfectly valid. Who is the underwriter of your policy? Ask the company then you tell us who it is, if you can.
  2. That last statement you posted if accurate is exactly the kind of thing that would give you the proof to go after the individual behind the company.
  3. That's the one that is regulated on Nevis. There is probably name errors in many of the documents, gobbledygook seems to be a consistent theme. Insurer: insurance company or captive or compartment of captive or protected cell of captive Who are you going to sue? and where? The best class action lawsuit would be in France and against Patrick Lorentz personally. You would have to prove he was a bad actor.
  4. Further On the subject of Trustpilot positive 5* reviews Mark Levitan and his 5* review, could he be the same Mark Levitan who was referred to by Rainwater as the local WrLife rep? He wrote... The local Thai rep a UK guy Mark Levitan has assured me WR Life is an underwriter real insurance company It does seem odd that the 4 officers associated with WrLife got ill and posted their 5* review on trustpilot.
  5. The car driver shares blame. The bike made an illegal maneuver in getting behind the car. He overtook one car but undertook the other (illegal). Blame IMHO is 50/50.
  6. To be fair, Lazada's search engine shows you more of what you just bought by default. It also shows you searched items which weren't (but should have been) included in your previous search.
  7. And it's clear who the insurer is "Insurer: insurance company or captive or compartment of captive or protected cell of captive" Actually, the insurer or underwriter if you prefer, is WrLife Participative Insurance Ltd, registered in the UK and regulated to provide insurance services by the island of Nevis.
  8. The difference with Roojai is that they have a well respected independent underwriter with lots of reserves.
  9. Bernie Madoff also paid out to his clients, until he didn’t.
  10. So you believe the review about appendicites written by one of the company's officers? I am please to find you, I have a friend, a Nigerian prince with $100M you can help him with....
  11. Further On the subject of Trustpilot positive 5* reviews Another is by Thibault Chambert could he be the same Thibault Chambert of Chiang Mai who lists WRLife as his employer on LinkedIN?
  12. Very interesting, that's the same guy and at the same address as his WRLife agency, I wonder why he joined a new company, and I wonder why he expunged all history of WRLife on his LinkedIN and Facebook profiles.... What does he know....
  13. @vinny41 The purpose of my asking you to research it was to encourage you to research & post in a balanced way. It's only too easy to cherry pick and post only what furthers your general stance, I'm as guilty as anyone. But I think it's important we balance what we post as it stops the back and forth bickering.
  14. That's a good idea, I will.
  15. Vinny, could you research the claim made by Sam in the video that Toyota's sales have declined 7 months in a row and tell us where it came from?
  16. Nevertheless, he had a claim issue and his views about the company are on trustpilot and they haven't changed following the reply he got.
  17. My friend Charlie Badenhop posted about them on AN, he had a claim issue, he also wrote about his experience on Trustpilot.
  18. It wouldn't be appropriate. I'm not a customer. I researched them in great detail and I would rather stick pins in my eyes than give them any of my money.
  19. On the subject of Trustpilot positive 5* reviews One is from a Manuel Ollivier, could it be the same one as the business card below? Another is from a Patrick Lorentz, could it be the same one who owns WRLife?
  20. It would be helpful to other members if someone started a thread on rejected claims.
  21. Akio Toyoda is now crying because he realises he has been wrong all along. His legacy will be that of the man who destroyed Toyota.
  22. Were not going to agree, I appreciate your point of view even though I disagree with it.
  23. I rejected the TV and the free soundbar and got a message yesterday saying my refund is on its way. I don’t use COD because of the fraud risk, however, I may reconsider that one some items after the recent consumer legislation.
  24. The underwriter is WrLife Participative Insurance Ltd, you will find it regulated by the island of Nevis. I've enclosed a screenshot of the registration together with an organisation chart for WRLife that another AN member obtained direct from WRLife.
  25. Let's not lose context or twist my post, your post was in response to mine (above). Whether some manufacturers haven't reached their anticipated profitability yet doesn't mean they are dumping or that it's unsustainable. All new models are sold at a loss until development costs are recouped. They need either substantial cash reserves or financial support until they hit that point. Unsustainability only occurs if they run out of finance before that point. That can be down to many factors. If a Chinese manufacturer can make and sell cars at a profit (eg BYD) than that means it's a sensible price for that segment. It's up to the competition to compete. It's not right to say the price is wrong and unsustainable as one manufacturer has already demonstrated it's ok. If the competition is selling for less than that, it could well be unsustainable.
