  1. I'm sure it does, but it's missing the ocean. I need a beach, the seaside. Soothing and relaxing listening to the waves splashing. I go for a ride on my motorbike or bicycle by the beach everyday, normally in the morning and evening. It's medicinal. All my life, growing up in Australia and living in Thailand for many years now, I've always lived close to the beach.
  2. Keeping away from those expensive veges. I'm sticking to my chicken and pork products and savings heaps.
  3. It's disappointing when they have an attitude. When they don't reply with a good morning or ka, or thank saddens my day. Nice bread, tasty.
  4. Harry house and bakery soi Buakaow pattaya What happened to the women working at Harry house and bakery Pattaya? I've been buying bread there for ages, I visit the shop once, sometimes twice a week and buy my bread. I always say good morning and thank you, they used to be so happy and reply the same but it's as if there's been a death over the last month or so, it's eerie. Has anyone noticed? I reckon a few grumpy foreigners have upset them.
  5. And then there's always someone complaining about the complaining. ????
  6. Yes. I've paid for a few sick buffaloes over the years, apparently they're feeling much better these days.
  7. At least they're trying, not like some. Geeze, there's always someone complaining about anything these days.
  8. Sounds like me after a heavy night on the turps down walking street
  9. I reckon a public flogging or stoning. If they re offend then an Execution carried out by beheading
  10. Yes, anti-vaxxer, that's what I was thinking but at his age I reckon he'd have more sense.
  11. I read the article but nothing mentioned why he was unvaccinated. Maybe it was his age. I doubt he was unvaccinated due to sourcing his medical information from Facebook or similar social media.
  12. Wow, you sure he was Thai. I've met a few foreigners here in Pattaya that are easily convinced.
  13. I just read this guy has been found safe. I'm not sure but I reckon it was one our fine AN investigaors that helped find this British man. https://www.facebook.com/95006403011/posts/pfbid0yLaobwzQjMC4oHFccETXKPGPxvMvTef1HktGEh1oJNPMwveunu9Pknu78T8JT2tul/
  14. I agree but sadly the electrical wiring standards by most electricians in Thailand is very poor. These safety devices will constantly, trip, switch off power, you'd see them disabled after a short while, people getting fed up with resetting them.
  15. Here's another missing person (British guy) case for our team of AN investigators to solve. Come on men, LIFT https://www.facebook.com/95006403011/posts/pfbid0Zgo6CEmKUobNZihTmRETcXmA1wpypt52m142dtNJWBP6wzcUVCbGPxnrUFLUjuYul/ I'm sure we all can do better this time.
  16. I'm very disappointed in our AN investigation team. Normally we crack these cases within 24 hours. Not one mention of a lost in Laos ending.
  17. Like I said, I reckon elephants are a good judge of character. Your stories don't phase me, I read lots of fiction here by members
  18. Is that the same hotel where the Kyzghikistan woman chosed to jump from the highest floor? I didn't even know it was a hotel before today, always thought it was a guest house or apartment. It's not very high, if you were going to do a job, I reckon you'd find something higher.
  19. Supalai Mare @ Pattaya - condo Chonburi Supalai.jpg.webp 40.71 kB · 2 downloads Yes, thanks for that. Like I said, a few condos. Supalai is a condo. Just the one hotel on Thepprasit, a small hotel, looks more like a guesthouse......... Madera Lodge
