  1. Is the Chanote in your name? The land office needs to see the transfered funds in your bank account before transferring title. BTW, never, ever (if you can) send THB from your country. Send your local currency, you'll get much better conversion rates in Thailand.
  2. Purple communicates in a positive way. It is said to have the power to uplift, calm nerves and encourage creativity, making it an all-inclusive color. https://medium.com/@mdfcreative/purple-the-color-of-evil-9a934ad66051
  3. Ha ha. I remember when fixed term deposits and foreign currency accounts were not accepted as proof of money for immigration family and retirement visas/extensions. I wonder if they will accept crypto one of these days. ????
  4. Pattaya Tai, Entrance to TukCom. A cool looking Thai guy (looks like a musician) hangs out every day on the steps. I feel for the muso's, lost their jobs when the bars shut down. Also, a Thai girl (late 20's early 30's) has appeared, begging everyday. I wish the begging foreigners would go back to their countries, it really ticks me off.
  5. It's not fair, he gets to celebrate Makha Bucha day, but we have to go without. Alcohol free day today. ????
  6. Yes, I see this monk often, walking around soi Buakhao chatting up the chicks
  7. Disgraceful. It should be against the law for some people to be parents.
  8. Thanks for that. As I thought 15km as posted not correct.
  9. I thought it may have also but looking at the sign, it looks as though it's been there for a while.
  10. OMG, sorry to hear. Yes, it's a shame the Juristic manager didn't barricade the area.
  11. Thanks, but that's even a bigger reason to be more vigilant regarding child's safety.
  12. What's the location? Seems a short trip. I live South Pattaya and it's over 20 kms to the Lake from home.
  13. Bloody selfish parents. Living in a house with a pool and not taking care of their children. Put them in jail. In Australia we learnt a long time ago, children are inquisitive, they are always learning, always challenging themselves, this is why it's illegal to have a swimming pool without a child proof fence.
  14. Just note, if you go early, your 90 day count starts that day.
  15. Have look on lazada, lots of brands from different countries.
  16. So sad. Bring local (Thais) should have known better, trusting fencing/railing, nothing is ever maintained. Probably taking selfies. I read about selfie victims, getting hurt, not paying attention to the surroundings. They've crossed the safety barrier, warning signs. Some people will go to any lengths to get a good photo/selfie.
  17. Invalid comparison, gold is tangible. Bitcoin is a stream of electrons on the internet. I'm wondering how bitcoin would cope with an EMP event Like I said, a simple explanation. I see comments to quote 'if you can sell' It's obvious these members don't understand BTC, so I kept it simple.
  18. You can always sell BTC To explain simply, think of it as gold. Gold can always be sold. Its the selling price that's the variable.
  19. Making a claim on car insurance Depending on the insurer Increases next years premium. They more than likely have an excess, also any no claim bonuses may be sacrificed. The car owner will be out of pocket.
  20. You're Canadian dollars I assumed USD So, I'm not double, I'm at x 3 for 124000 baht
