  1. It doesn't say whether the victim was wearing a life jacket. Some people overestimate themselves by "not needing" one.
  2. Don't take cannabis on flights. Too risky, and unnecessary as you will find what you need in Samui.
  3. Pseudoephedrine raises blood pressure quite a lot. Not something you want to take regularly. Plus, it makes you positive for meth from what I've read. NAR (non-allergic rhinitis) = perennial rhinitis = idiopathic rhinitis. Often combined with post-nasal drip. Bumrungrad hospital in Bangkok offer the Clarifix procedure. I may take the jump and have it but I'm still not convinced. Reddit reviews are not encouraging. P.S. I noticed steroid nasal sprays (fluticasone, mometasone) had some effect in my case. No immediate effect though, should be used for a few weeks.
  4. Non-allergic rhinitis. No cure (except Clarifix or Rhinaer?). Forget diet or snake oil vitamins. One thing that works as a nasal spray is Ipatropium Bromide. Alas not available in the EU anymore. Not available in Thailand (I asked around). Only available in an anti-asthma spray, combined with some other stuff you don't want to inhale if you don't have asthma. This is a pic of the nasal spray they recently withdrew from the market in the EU. I knew when I found it to work some three months ago, I thought "something that works, they're going to withdraw it". And so they did soon enough indeed! Government LOVE to make people's lives miserable. I hasten to do some pharmacy hopping in order to buy enough to last me half a year.
  5. "What, are you defending pidofiles!!!?", said they.
  6. She would if I had one. One more reason not to marry.
  7. ".. leaving 100 tonnes in the landfill"? More like leaving 100 tons strew over the island and its beaches.
  8. I think Lazada had some. Much cheaper than in pharmacies. Incidentally, theanine works pretty much like melatonin, only longer. I only use melatonin for jet lag these days.
  9. I thought the street Levitra could be sildenafil too until I crunched one tablet between my teeth. The taste was different. Less acrid, less unpleasant than sildenafil. Note that he Kamagra sold in the street struck me as even stronger than the Thai Viagra generic (Sidegra) sold in Thai pharmacies. This doesn't mean it is of course, might be psychosomatic.
  10. In the street same price as kamagra give or take 100 Baht. I take 1 whole tablet. With Kamagra I would take one half or two thirds of a tablet.
  11. Taladafil gives me bizarre long-lasting side-effects. I see sparks before my eyes whenever I close my eyes. Sleep is nigh impossible. I had to stop using Taladafil after trying it out only a couple of times. I now use the street Levitra. Levitra is the shortest acting of the 3 available molecules but I don't mind. Sildenafil gives me the occasional headache, Levitra doesn't.
  12. Many with accounts outside Thailand need a Thai TIN as required by the banks back home. Advice like "don't get a TIN, don't stay more than 6 months" etc. is useless for those among us (the majority?) who need Thailand as an offshore tax residence.
  13. Not only is the lynching mob out in full force, but some think shouting even louder than the mob will protect them when the chips are down.
  14. Law enforcement all over the world often report minimal seizures. Seize 1 kilo, report 1 gram, then resell the remaining 999 grams. That's why many countries are keen on a zero tolerance policy. Report only 1 gram but sentence according to the real amount (1 kilo). That's the war on drugs for you: as ugly as Hitler's gas chambers
  15. Why not arrest the elephant owners on which dung the mushroom grow?
  16. It's a good move. It could succeed since the wymmyns (who call the shots in EU-Land) have no more to fear from Thai women selling sex for money like they did in the old days. Visa politics in Western countries is 90% sexual politics.
  17. Yes and guess what? They told me no problem just bring your passport, after which mutual comprehension dropped to zero.
  18. I went with my passport so there was no problem getting in. I'd hate to have to leave my passport in those tin boxes again.
  19. I find the locker arrangements at the water parks unsafe. Will I be admitted if I show up only with my Thai driving licence and digital copies of my passport?
  20. Might have to do with burgeoning AI. The number of actual robots out there may be on the rise. This may become the real problem associated with AI, rather than the stupid ethical stuff discussed in talk shows. Fancy having to complete a 2F verification in order to get into any website.
  21. Could have been Mycoplasma pneumoniae. It's like a bad cold but it lasts for several weeks. Has been epidemic in Europe.
  22. I'm not interested in getting a doctor's prescription for some CBD oil. If that's what legal cannabis in Thailand is heading to, that's the end of legal cannabis in Thailand as far as I'm concerned.
