  1. OK, but suely they do have a responsibility to contact the owner and ask for a key or ask the owner to come to the condo and let the technician in.
  2. Did he check all of these questions before he departed Thailand / before he got the name change?
  3. Plus the generl's sistr in law appointed herself to be above the law and ordered a red carpet and guard be present to watch her arrive and order folks around. She had no rank, no employment status whateve in the miitary. And at the same time her lower general husband P's younger brother) was granting work contracts to their son.
  4. OK, but some of the routes are no longer in operation.
  5. Sure it doesn't bothers some. But I believe there's many more who are quite unhappy with this situation but are frightened of the consequences to object or discuss the problem.
  6. Here's an example, very dumb / lame brainded Aussie returns and tries to tell Immigration officers at Sydney Airport to not record his arrival. They refuse, big discussion, police called he gets charge with causing an afray at an airport, fined. He then goes to the local C'link office to lodge his as yet uncompleted OAP applications forms and insists he is entitled to have a C'link officer complete the forms for him. Eventually he does it himself. And more...
  7. And keys with room no tag and vehicle no. tag.
  8. Agree, nobody can answer this question, there's thieves, there's dishonest and poor people and not poor but light fingered people in every country. What other answer was the OP expecting?
  9. Yes, pay money plus while owner watches make the weapon useless; bend the barrel, weld the area where the cartridge is inserted so that it can never be used or repaired, run a disc grinder through the firing mechanism, etc. This does work.
  10. Why take the risk, in any such environment anywhere in the world?
  11. Has awards for vote buying.
  12. Yep, vote buying at it's best. Honest election? Naah.
  13. Meaning: you have to satisy the requirements to prove that you are re-establishing a home in Australia. Read the regulations/requirements, it's not difficult. I've read so many comments on this board and others where the Aussie said impolite even insulting things to the Services/C'link people, then wonder why they get rejected. It's not difficult at all and there's plenty of resources to get more detailed info.
  14. Good News. It can go both ways, older brother of my Thai son's Thai wife asked for 500,000Baht for him to bank ready to pay for my funeral, 5 days of ceremonies, numerous monks, big Chinese style banquet, dancing girls, big fancy big packs of food and drinks for funeral attendees to take home. All with the purpose of making her family look important / rich. Plus he planned to amke a list of all family members to eceive a gift of 100,000Baht cash. My Thai son intervened and personally told all rellies it's a scam to get your full correct name, address, phone no etc. Son got the name list and ripped it up where many could see. Big brother quickly went into hiding for several months.
  15. You misssed the new top of the line Benz or BM for the MIL.
  16. Last time it was discussed there was a suggestion to use current a/p for domestic flights and build new a/p for international. Never happened.
  17. Yes tried it, not to my taste. I rather doubt the Makro bakery staff have much knowledge of bread types etc.
  18. Yes and now easy to use aps: Grab, BOLT, Maxim and more all using GPS, and automatic very reasonable prices, pay Baht cash or Thai debit card. So why would anybody haggle with a very overpiced RED song taw and driver who doesn't know what day of the week it is and doesn't want to finish the journey?
  19. But don't just assume 'everything would go to your wife. If there's valid will to that point all fine. But if you die 'intestate' inThiland (no will) the Thai Commercial Code laws kick in and state specifically who (in the family) gets what. Best to have a Thai valid will. Can be very simple, just ensure it's properly signed/valid.
