Agree, best totally ignored. There's been so many reports / comments, seems to me much of this is just invented / twists etc. Who knows what the truth is and in any case much of what's been 'reported' is pretty much the realities of life for plenty of people world wide.

Plus get real about trumps lack of attention to the virus / his claims that it wasn't real plus his insulting remarks to Dr. Fauci and the very senior female doctor, plus lack of provision of critical medical equipment ; there's a big factor in why close to a million Americans died. Strange and illogical why so many MAGA supporters ignore all these points.

I was sitting in the drivers seat, car parked at a gasoline service centre near Chonburi City. My Thai adult son in the passengers seat. Son's Thai wife and her father (about 65 years old) sitting in the back. Cop walked up my drivers window and said '1.000Baht'. My son's father in law heard the cop and in an official manner pulled the cops hand into the car and said 'what is the charge, and show me your receipt book'. Cop fled.

I needed t get from HK to New Delhi very quickly to close a very big contract with a giant Indian conglomerate. My HK staff told their local travel agent 'any airline, first flight out of HK. Departed HK very quickly on Air India. Half way suddenly a family sitting same row as me got on the floor and pulled out a small pump up stove and got it working and put a small pot on the stove, water and veg. Several people reacted in horror and the stewards came quickly ordering them to put the fire out and give the stove to the stewards. But other nearby passengers told the stewards and the upset passengers to back off 'leave them alone, they have to eat'. Stewards did confiscate the stove, no announcements made, and on landing nothing more was said. Another western passenger sitting near me said 'I've seen this before, don't worry about it'. Several days later I returned to HK, not on Air India.

Good point. The method of education (the pedagogy) needs to be completely changed from kinder, to encourage / reward kids for analyzing and asking questions. Student centered learning. This must be introduced very early. If introduced in primary / high school it's too late, the kids are already locked into the strong rule 'cannot / not allowed to ask questions'.

There's a few Win riders /motorcycle taxi riders operating out of the CM bus station. Female family member who visits often from Chonburi City has used them on arrival at CM bus station several times, got the riders mobile number then called to book a ride back to the bus station. All reports positive and reasonable fees.

And should pay double price for everything. She has no cards other than her Thai ID card and driving licenses for car and m.cycle. She claims that all computers are fake.

There's also examples of certain professions / services which provide benefits to the public (socialism at work), for example the Australian Medicare system which provides all healthcare needs without charge and funded by all citizens paying a personal income tax charge t end end of each year at around 1.5% of taxable income. It's been in place for more than 4 decades and it works. Education could also be an example where excellent quality education is provides for all children at no charge (funded from general tax receipts). In some countries this included good quality bachelor and masters degrees at no charge, (again funded from general tax receipts). These are examples of socialism at work. Further there are countries where socialist style policies enforce maximum prices for goods and services required for a good quality of life, example food.
