  1. If one actually was so fancy about temples, they would be visiting Angkor Wat. And if they were true Buddhists, India.
  2. Has nothing to do with VPN, some actually live abroad and some might do that to specifically find a local farang there. Up to each person, so there is no black-white answer to that. To add on a bonus tip, nowadays it shows ''populair users'' which you can't click on if you are not a paying member. But you can just enter thaifriendly.com/username to still access and message them.
  3. Nonsense, you just need a copy passport and a picture, it is done in 5-10 minutes at CM airport. Left side booth before immi check. Been a while since I did that as I now always do multi-entry together with the visa at once, so not sure you also needed a copy of the visa page for that.
  4. Even for tourists and at tourist prices the pricing is very reasonable at most places. I do not understand the repeated whining over this at all. Specially if you are a tourist, and not a daily smoker, 1 joint for even 300 baht is cheap compared to having to drink all night. As a few hits would make such user really high already, you could easily share 1 with 4 people. And long-time smokers, even they are tourists, usually find the good deals and ways fast enough. It's user instinct. Aside of all above, obviously the places who now offer a joint, and no longer earn on alcohol, or less, still need to make revenue to be able and afford the rent, electric, wages and more. A beer from 7/11 or tesco is also cheaper than in a place.
  5. Most likely hormonal issue, she should be able to check that out under the 30 baht scheme isn't it? Obviously her diet will be nothing good either if she is poor.
  6. Most expensive ganja, where you get that nonsense from? The cost is equal or higher in most other countries. Indoor weed simply costs more money, as it requires hardware, knowledge, electric, longer duration for drying and curing it properly, aside of high demand. Over time it can be cheaper, but it is certainly not over priced now.
  7. I genuinely feel sorry for someone who made it to be a doctor, and yet is so clueless about reality and life. These people just transit between their villa houses and the hospital, to spend 1 night in the 5 star hua hin resort on the weekend, and thinking the old farang couples they see there reflect tourism in Thailand. Exactly the same with all government officials.
  8. Well that means 80% of the motorbikes would have a problem in that city.
  9. Me too and then I smacked my face and broke a lot of teeth at front, to see more damage over the following years.
  10. 199 baht wine usually doesn't have a cork meaning it is grape juice indeed, that is locally bottled. You can see the difference on the tax labels too (color). Sometimes even those that do have a cork, can be bottled locally, not 'real' wine too.
  11. Maybe you are behind on facts or something but MDMA is the last that ruins a life, aside of her innocence.
  12. Another BS news article, the prices are not significantly changed at all and I do not think it is that expensive, unless you are drinking to get drunk, in that case many alternatives to wine too. Yes you can get shack wine in europe and usa for a few dollars per bottle, but then you also pay big taxes, huge rent, gasoline and more instead. It is all so relative but people love black and white or opposite extremes. Plenty of restaurants and places where you can get a OK wine for around 140-160 baht per glass, that's not expensive at all.
  13. I recently came across this website and they seem to have some very nice solution, to do a few implants aside of a permanent fixed denture. Check https://bfcdental.com/en/price/ I think the prices are very reasonable, they are also all inclusive, as it otherwise means multiple trips to abroad (the 250-300K package).
  14. Perhaps it is a sign and thais have to look at significant things that happened around the time of rama 2
  15. Fear is just an emotion and mindfk and once you death, you are death. Just the little moment right before death, if you experience it, that might be scary in that moment. I nearly died more than cat have lives, so I am ready for it when it comes.
  16. Nothing to brag about, i am on the lower end of figures compared to most, who lived here a decade ish. The point is, you learn quite a bit from it and those are figures to measure from, specially when you pool them together. But if you consider it bragging, I guess you didn't have much fun in life. It are always the guys who didn't, who consider it bragging. For me it is exercise and fun. I am likely wrong with the number anyway, as 300 on 10 years is just like 2.5 girls per month, and it is more like 1 a week.
  17. If you speak to 500 people who each had about 20-30 each over a time span of years or decades, that tells me quite a bit.
  18. The average person has sex with like 7 people in a lifetime only so how big does the sample have to be, to give a bit of a clue? I am at least around the figure of 300 over 10 years time, scattered all across SE asia, low to hi so, free to paid for.
  19. You made me cry, decades + I have never been. Don't wait for life to end, it is too short. You have let gone to waste, the best years in modern history, for red lights and fun, if you lived here that long. At bargain prices too. That's just depressing to me.
  20. The signature dishes of Thailand, that real it is. Lines up with the culture too, it's always tail or head, black and white.
  21. Just to clarify, with working you mean personal exercise right?
  22. I don't bother to linger around with those who are like that, except for short time. Wouldn't settle for half a relationship either, anyone with a bit gut feeling and proper farmer logic would know when this is the case. However, few people have proper gut feeling and farmer logic, specially nowadays. Of course many of the old guys are aware but do not care, they know they pay for services. That is fine right, nothing personal just business. Would not claim it is limited to bar girls either, many other girls with normal jobs are exactly the same. The only difference might be they do not request money per time, day or month, but they still cost it regardless over time. Sure, we could all settle for this hard working 6 day a week office type of girl, who is boring as <deleted>, and never has free time to do anything. Sure she will be loyal.
  23. It's a fun thing to see with all those live webcam streams, a few on Samui for example. You can often see how their faces and body language really works out, right after the guy does not look at her or when she turns around / talks to friends. Same thing I always love to watch people from bars in real life too. I have to say, first I didn't like to see it, then I adjusted but the longer I live here, the more I see how disgusted (and disgusting) both of them usually are. I sometimes feel sorry for the guys, who do not seem to notice at all, how their beloved wife behaves when they go to the toilet, look away etc. That is even often when they are of the same age tho, just the majority of all couples here I see. The exceptions there are, beautiful relationships sure, but very few (lasting ones).
  24. Really sherlock, I thought he would obtain Thai residency in Myanmar instead.
  25. True, nothing wrong to enjoy 1-2 nights in kanchanaburi. I'd still prefer a KL visit and get a new visa instead though.
