  1. Many retired falangs, and I mean many, will thinking, wow I needed actually none of this. They came to Thailand as tourists, then a Visa agent provided the Non-A and after took care of the retirement visa. No need for any financial requirements.Direct deal between agent and Immigration... and, oh also Bangkok Bank involved.πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  2. Working for 20 years in Thailand, now retired since 12 years, living in Manila and will stay there until my days are gone. Back to Europe is out of question.
  3. For many retirees the most important issue is to have a trusted agent, which will provide the most efficient service, without any financial requirements, neither in the bank nor as income. 😁 A countryman in Pattaya, aged 85, just got his 30th extention, without never showing any money. On the other side, he must be beloved by the Immigration. In this 30 years, they received about 350,000 "appreciation money" from the agent. (No, not me, don't live in Thailand anymore) 😁 πŸ‘
  4. Especially in Pattaya, hundreds of retired falangs, don't have this problem, because they didn't put any money πŸ’΅ into their bank account. It's only an observation 😊
  5. The writer of this topic must be more than amused to read all the answers 😁. He provoked and obviously succeeded πŸ˜‚

  7. As you stay already stay in Thailand, you will know what would be the easiest and most convenient way to do it, without any financial burden . πŸ˜πŸ‘
  8. As an agent can do the one year retirement visa without any money requirements, don't understand why falangs living in Thailand for many years, still obviously don't know.
  9. Agent also can provide a real one, issued by the Immigration 😁
  10. It's always good when you have some money aside. You can use to get out of the πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘of difficult situations in Thailand πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡
  11. Had a condo in the name of my wife. Then she died and the family wanted 50%. Had to take a lawyer and got to the court in Nakon Si Thamarat. Because there was a testament in my name, the court ruled in my favor (without tea money πŸ’΅ 😁) The rule, that I have to sell in one years time, could be overturned by my lawyer.
  12. I lost many kg despite over 80 years old. How? After 4pm no more any food = skip dinner.
  13. No more. Can't also no more buy fast lane through Klook. I'm old πŸ§“, in this case great 😁, have my fast track.
  14. An agent make sense for retirement visa, when you don't want put 800,000 Baht into a bank account.
  15. Many agents in Pattaya. Google "Pattaya immigration agent". Then you can inquire and choose.
  16. Great choice!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  17. Why spend any money on a retirement visa? Take an agent, no need to provide any financial requirements. Same time you will make the Immigration happy, as they will get some of the agents fee.
  18. Time to close down Soi 6 and rebuild😊
  19. The retired falangs who put the 800,000 into a bank account, must be not too happy. The other category, "short cut one year visa with an agent" will have a smile on their πŸ’‹ 😊
  20. Drinking at least 4 - 5, cups of coffee β˜• an interesting topic for me 😁 πŸ‘. I'm using filter coffee as well also a French press. Both produce same good, strong quality coffee.
  21. Married and divorced twice to Thai ladies. (before once to an European) Now since 12 years married to a Pinay. They are very family oriented and take good care of their husbands. πŸ˜πŸ‘
  22. Stupid question. Can be answered in one word: Money πŸ’΅
  23. Ridiculous, no way such a rematch will take place
  24. I only liked Thailand when working in Bangkok. After my retirement, was living in Pattaya. Didn't like the ambience and moved away from Thailand πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡.
