Working for 20 years in Thailand, now retired since 12 years, living in Manila and will stay there until my days are gone. Back to Europe is out of question.

For many retirees the most important issue is to have a trusted agent, which will provide the most efficient service, without any financial requirements, neither in the bank nor as income. 😁 A countryman in Pattaya, aged 85, just got his 30th extention, without never showing any money. Had a condo in the name of my wife. Then she died and the family wanted 50%. Had to take a lawyer and got to the court in Nakon Si Thamarat. Why spend any money on a retirement visa? Take an agent, no need to provide any financial requirements. Same time you will make the Immigration happy, as they will get some of the agents fee.
