For what it’s worth I have had moderately high BP since my forties. Two full on ischemic strokes, one TIA, and a few heart attacks. Dietary changes and moderate exercise lost one hundred pounds and had the docs take me off BP meds as I was having fainting spells from low BP. After a couple of bone breaking falls the BP has been creeping up again as bed rest inhibits my exercise. I also have a bit of trouble drinking enough water. All anecdotal; YMMV.

I have found a little sugar needed for some non-dairy yogurt making. Best result for me is low-fat cow’s milk with a teaspoon of added corn flour or such before heating. Have thought of but not tried yet a little gelatin. Only because the low fat milk comes out “ looser” than I prefer, though I suppose I could “Greek” it by straining. Easier to mix a little thickener in ahead.

I think I would accept if my wife had a “gik”, as I am no longer much use in that department. I do feel that I love her, and usually just plain like her. Lately worried though because she has expressed concern over caring for her semi-invalided “ old boy”.

The fermentation process for yogurt making substantially reduces the amount of lactose, your “ natural sugar”, in the final product, enough so that most lactose intolerant people can safely use it.

Falcon brand makes unsweetened condensed milk. I am a fully “ ripe” diabetic and use Ship brand creamer in my one allowed cup of coffee per day along with a little stevia for sweetness. One tablespoon of creamer would not contain enough sugar to be detrimental unless consuming many other “no nos””

If the main concern is particulates how about air cleaners? That said properly controlled temperature might just improve scholastic progress, including improved attendance.

I would say you haven’t tried very hard. I used to earn a tidy sum recycling abandoned used up batteries. Almost every scrap yard accepts them. I happened to have a 3/4 ton diesel truck so it made sense to collect a full load and drive an hour to sell them for the best price. A neighbor even paid other locals a modest fee for their used batts and did likewise; he had a larger truck and a large area for storage of junk.

I have one of the cheapos that we have used for several years. I have ground coffee, spices including cinnamon sticks, etc. The top is cracked but still works. I think maybe because we use it mostly in a pulse fashion. I do not recommend for grinding Birds Eye chili.( cough, cough))

I recall many previous posts about how little the Chinese tour groups actually spend outside of their tour “ packages”. Not sure how much this scheme will benefit the overall economy.

Would static CCTV cameras show if Mr. T were having a hypertensive crisis? Heck no. Would the general public be qualified to judge his medical condition from such footage? Again, no.
