Central festival has higher priced stores,/ Central than has local priced stores and lots of restaurants and 2 food malls so wins by a mile Nai yung to central 34 or less kms cancel ur no pool hotel an re book one on the beach road, its low season so u can get a great deal

its monsoon season so red flags out on the beach, be careful with the kids> rather than Patong head to Central Mall in Phuket town for shopping western foods taxi or better, why not rent a car for the day?

they have "connections" with some immigration offices> Approval of conversion from visa exempt/tourist visa to non o & extension's is Always up to the immigration official person Does NOT have to be there ( except Jomtien) afaik example , out of the 22-30,000 some agents charge in phuket for extensions, no baht in Bank 1, 900 goes for the extension, 2-5,000 goes to the agent, remainder goes to .....

many i know here in Phuket use an agent (S) in phuket Extensions ( this year) issued in Kamphaengphet redo TM 30 for phuket do 90 day reports in Phuket ( online not allowed) No problem, FYI: no problem shopping around and changing agents if you a find a better deal

go live at turtle beach with Steve Rosse FYI: its very easy to live on phuket island with less than $1,000/month ( even for 2 of us) we eat well, dont drink or bar hop and mostly cook at home

if she had a visa or extension an did not get a re entry permit. The visa/extension is finished ... she can come in visa exempt for 30 days, pay for a 30 day extension if she wants have never heard of anyone getting a NON O off of a brother but if she did. good for her BUT she will need start all over
