  1. Probably home made in a rudimentary local workshop as most of the smaller boats and VIP buses are here.
  2. Tell that to the numerous political dissidents and journalists that have had to flee Thailand for fear of prosecution.
  3. Profits before safety, with a complete lack of competence and enforcement. Basket of chicken essence presented at the hospital bedside by some government lackey.
  4. With the current arrogant attitude in Thailand on health and safety, they will never work it out.
  5. The boat sunk on the 23rd, and they found the raft 20 nautical miles away from that location on the 25th. Two days at sea with few (if any) provisions and drinking water on a life-raft with a choppy sea-state. They are very, very lucky to be alive. Were there no flares or EPIRB on the life-raft as required by international maritime law (SOLAS)? Safety at sea is almost non-existent here. No wonder Chinese tourists are scared to come here.
  6. All my GH clones are finishing up now, no signs of pm thankfully.
  7. I ordered the white. The reason was, I liked the exterior contrast with the black interior and white piping. Saw a few black ones going about yesterday, they look really nice because there's no chrome on them, really stealthy looking. Black is usually my preferred choice, not sure if regretting choosing the white now. Will see when it comes.
  8. Did you already pay a deposit or just a booking fee? My Seal was meant to be here on the 18th, but it is arriving on the 27th, as such I cannot take delivery of it until January. I've already paid for it, so they will not be getting any additional money.
  9. Thais know it is all lies. They are not expected to believe, they are expected to accept it.
  10. Gorilla Zkittlez by Fastbuds. I started this off on an 18/6 light cycle, but it out-grew the tent it was in, so it was moved into the 12/12 flower tent. It is almost six feet tall now. Biggest auto I have grown to date.
  11. \ Lemon Orange by Green House Seed Co. I picked these up as clones at their Head Office in Nuanchan, Bangkok. Overall I am fairly impressed with their genetics, got loads of their clones on the go at the moment including High Cloudz, Ztrawberriez, Full Gas, Persian Pie and others. Looking forward to sampling them when they are done.
  12. As well as my indoor tents, I grow outdoors in a hoop tent and on the front patio, and I use a cheap LED light to keep the plants in veg at 18/6. I switch it off when I want them to flower under the natural 12/12 light cycle. It's turned on at 5pm and off again at midnight. I use fans to keep the air circulating to avoid bud rot (botrytis). During rainy season it is almost impossible to avoid this however, so try to avoid flowering plants with tight bud structures during this time. I'm having great results with my hybrid plants outdoors now that I have managed to deal with most of the issues, including spider mites etc.
  13. Seven boats sinking in a week and eight people still missing won't allay any safety concerns, that's for sure.
  14. Betrayal, duplicity, dishonesty and unethical behaviour comes naturally to them in their pursuit of wealth and power.
  15. Still using the collapsible Billy Pughs for rig transfers down there, pretty much banned everywhere else.
  16. For clarification, these photos were taken on the 5th August 2023, and Thaksin returned to Thailand on the 22nd.
  17. Those pointless 'tests' are part of the problem.
  18. Maybe if they bought Toyotas or Hondas instead of Teslas and BMWs they would have enough patrol cars. With 230,000+ officers nationwide they have more than enough manpower.
  19. A Thai driving licence is so easy to get in Thailand, that it is no proof of competence to operate a motor vehicle. With or without a Thai licence, for locals, the skill levels will be about the same. They need a complete overhaul of the licencing system to include proper driving tests and periods of probation after the test has been passed (displaying P plates etc.) as well as proper enforcement of the laws. As they can't manage to do a simple task like wiring a plug properly, proper competence of drivers will never, ever happen here.
  20. This thread reminds me, whatever happened to that Siam Legend place? They must have spent millions on it pre-COVID, and it will never have got the visitor numbers they were anticipating.
  21. It was great during COVID. Unfortunately back to normal chaotic conditions now due to a complete lack of management, Police enforcement and major construction works being carried out during peak tourism season.
  22. Seen this many times, Thais racing along and not stopping in the right lane when there is a red light and or hazard coming from the left.
