  1. With.......ice? Excuse me. Please go to the corner and have a quiet word with yourself.
  2. Doesn't Leo have some "antioxidant" on its ingredient list?
  3. Since it appears we can choose multiple bars, I chose: 1. Chequers - good patrons 2. Fitzgerald - solid choice generally 3. Red Lion - best value, hands down 4. Paddy Field - good weekday deals 5. Madrid - a charm of Patpong 6. Old Other Office - you have to see it to believe it.
  4. Just checked Mor Prom app. Someone made an error with my date of birth and also my passport number on my vaccine certificate. Anyone else had this problem? Any idea how to fix it?
  5. Yeah, we should start a thread on which pubs pull the best pint. I'd put my money on the Red Lion. Chequers is fine too and Fitzgerald's. Other Soi 4 bars, maybe bottles are the better choice.
  6. Hard to beat a Long Island Ice Tea then
  7. Was down Sukhumvit today, noticed it was a 50/50 split between the bottle and pint drinkers. Wonder why?
  8. I typically go for pints. It seems most economical: 100 baht a pint vs 90 baht a small bottle, you sometimes get a bad pint in certain pubs. Also, it warms up quickly. I was in Sukhumvit today and I noticed it was probably 50/50 between the bottle and pint drinkers. Just wondering, so I thought I'd do a poll. So, bottle or pint? Or either, depending on .....?
  9. They put a heavy amount of dumb in the somtdum. Stupid and authority shouldn't mix.
  10. 1. I liked it best out of all the Asian countries I visited: modern, cosmopolitan, fun, free, wild, sexy, chilled, amazing, beautiful, convenient, exciting, adventurous, tasty, healthy, inexpensive, dirty, insightful, novel, versatile, special. 2. Since 2009. 3. Yeah, but I probably wouldn't have done it much differently.
  11. Well, right now I am comparing risk with crypto. How about Netflix, Amazon, Square, Shopify, Mercado Libre, Trade Desk, Nvidia? Super low risk compared to crypto. These companies have either done 1000% (or more) in the last 5 years or have done that during some 5 year period over the last decade or so. Jesus, the Trade Desk, Shopify, and Square have done from around 2000% to more than 3500% over the last 5 years (only) and these companies are profitable! (Yes, they actually have P/E ratios, lol)! The largest company in Singapore which runs Shopee (heard of Shopee? I use it weekly) and owns the game Free Fire (was the most downloaded game across the world at one point) has rewarded shareholders with 2000% over the last 5 years! That's the largest company in Singapore, na, lol! I didn't find it under a rock! It's such an obvious investment. Shopee and Free Fire are household names. When you look at these gains (vs risks), crypto is just laughable. Just silly little tokens. Might as well trade baseball cards for thousands of dollars. Christ, even Microsoft has done close to 500% over the last 5 years! (while paying a dividend too) Get a grip of yourselves. Bloody unicorn tokens! Haha
  12. The only problem I have with crypto is the "investing" aspect. I really hope crypto revolutionizes the world through decentralisation. Certainly a noble cause. But what makes it a good investment? I wouldn't buy gold or oil as an investment, so why Bitcoin or Ethereum? I mean, I did get into crypto back in 2017 and cashed out most of it in 2018. It was alright. I did fine. Still have a few ETH. Only thing is: the stock I was holding (before I got into crypto) has done over 1000% in the last 5 years with far far less risk, not to mention without the extreme volatility (boom n bust nature of crypto). And I could easily name many other companies that have rewarded shareholders more than most crypto over the last 5 years. Hell, even the company I got i to after crypto has done almost 10x. And are talking big companies with huge revenue and profitability - not penny stocks. (yeah, I know I am cherry picking the timeframe, but it's a pretty good timeframe to look at for an investment). So, yeah, I like the idea of Blockchain, I just criticize it as an investment. I think it's ok for a bit of fun, a gamble, or a quick trade - but as a serious investment. Nah.
  13. Lol Is it even worth for such a pitiful amount? If it's you hobby fair enough. I probably make about triple that on average in stocks.
  14. Funny, cos I just recently asked my mom about that. I asked, "Is xxxxxx different now?." And she replied, "No, it never changes". Some places don't change. Bangkok, however, has changed a lot.
  15. They are just the honest ones; the rest are all thinking it.
  16. Probably the most effort anyone put in to get into her pants.
