  1. Happily she someone who says she is looking on the road ahead and behind....Most drivers don't look further than the end of the car it seems
  2. Easy to blame someone instead of blaming yourself for the greed and corruption and manipulations.....That doesn't mean that I agree with Trump he is just a lunatic...
  3. Yea indeed, but what is in these cells?? drugsaddicted, dealers and some murderers.. and people who have stolen something or for section 112 violation.. But that is not what I mean. Thailand throws everybody in jail, the easiest way to get rid of problems.. But many times you read that stepfathers/mothers grandfathers uncles and aunts fathers and mothers are abusing kids in all thinkable ways or even killed.. and what will happen to it?? nothing... Throw in the cell and the problem is solved, but you need decent education, rehability programs, safe houses for kids and justice that condemns these practices... Some while ago we could read that a kid was abandoned in a house for months untill a neighbour told someone...How many more are there??Kids beaten, abused, living alone here.... and the Government too busy instead of investing in decent education of parents, create institutions for kids safety, etc...
  4. I always get mad as i read it was unintentional.... WTF... you don't do even not threat of such a movement.. But the Thai brains are very different from normal people, and justice is only to satisfy everybody.. always excuses but no real punishments, so nothing will be solved.
  5. It is not cancelled, it will come back as there are new elections.. They promise again to get votes, but I hope that the Thai people will be smarter this time.. It was to be expected there was too much delaying every time In Dutch there is a proverb like promise a lot and give a bit, keeps a lunatic happy..
  6. You misunderstand me... I have written many times already that the daily wages system should be abolished and that everybody has to a get a monthly salary of at least 13k a month with 6 days working from max 9 hours a day...THat means everybody earns about 500 THB a day.. and holidays are being paid too. But this is a few steps too far for Thailand..It would improve life and economy .. In the Western world they have done the same many decades ago, so it is possible to do it in Thailand too
  7. 10 year tourist visa with working opportunities... Retired people are even not allowed to do volunteer jobs as a workpermit is always needed. Now it could be on a tourist visa?? Backpackers came many years ago and they found a job an worked and spend their earnings on holidays here in Thailand, but after the coup the visa rules were changed and the backpackers stayed away and the economy started to decline...as with these rules also the people who had to do border runs for staying in Thailand were not allowed anymore to do so only for a stay of max 90m days.. Many foreigners with a small restaurant or shop went out of the country and the partners and their families lost that income.. And now a 10 year tourist visa?? for staying how long? 90 days in 180 days?? so that they can stay exact 180 days and have to pay tax here? and with no other rights as they are just tourists?? It will not work
  8. With anymore is that the inflation and prices are skyrocketing at the moment. The Government with the manipulation of the THB has made everything much more expensive and also by deals of the Thai rich owned companies who sell to higher prices to other countries so that the netizens have to pay more as there is a shortage of several articles.. Just simple things as eggs, palm oil, sugar, coffee and other items.. Several years back they could probably make ends meet, but nowadays it is impossible anymore, while the rich push for more holidays, more spendings, and refuse to small salary raise ....
  9. How low can you go??? Better would be do simething about the expensive Thai Baht and the greed of the rich
  10. I am not surprised.. The Thai people are not being paid decently anymore and all the money is hands of a few rich and superrich families...These families are holding the country back from going forward for their own pockets..
  11. Give me or some other independent foreigners a place in the panel. They are mostly reliable and see what the results will be, as now with the friends of the culprit Thaksin we all know what the result will be...
  12. And the most funniest thing is that Thai police officers, government officials, teachers, and other common people are vaping everywhere and are being left alone, but if a foreigner is vaping he/she will be fined....That is the biggest problem and a main reason that people avoid coming here.. the tourists are seen as the criminals and law breakers, while the netizens are the majority and being protected for same offences and worse
  13. Read my lips.. it will come back when there are new elections.. but I hope that the netizens are wiser now
  14. In former days backpackers did some jobs and spend their money in the weekends and holidays for a few months. But with the visarules and outdated labour laws, it is almost impossible to for a backpacker to get a job here now and they come to visit the country, and go to a better destination... Thailand does not change anything for foreigners for the best, but make things more complicated for them, with the result they are losing them... Now the expats with the new tax law are being targeted.... How can you promote your country as foreign friendly??
  15. indeed bitter old men that have life experience and want that Thailand gets better instead of worse.. If people like you had a bit respect for the elderly and took some advice of them it would surely make your miserable life better
  16. I have high bloodpressure too but I don't need to be hospitalized and if I have to stay in a hospital even my private room doesn't look like this.. But yeah I don't have the money as Thaksin has and I can't bribe anyone, and with a PM that has no clue what is going on but only speak what daddy says it is no wonder the country is a mess
  17. A result that should not be surprising as many foreigners here on this forum already told years ago that Thailand has to take care of the tourists, but they don't invest anything in the tourism industry except double standards, dangerous roads, outdated laws, no infrastructure and with the manipulated high THB an expensive country.. put the grumpy immigration and the greedy tax on it and indeed tourists and other people will look for another less complicated country to visit or live in
  18. And papa should step down as a sign that family of MP and high ranked officers have to behave according to their job..
  19. On a gameshow on the Belgian TV there were candidates with a paintball rifle who were defending some speakers.. The Thai navy seals were in the game to dismantle these speakers, but most of all they all failed to do so... Just an impression of how good the Thai seal are here I suppose..
  20. The criminal is ruining the country and its image....
  21. She is good for this job... better than going to Dubai to talk with Trump... Maybe already looking for a new job
  22. Everything in Thailand is vague... read the articles with fines... fine of maximum 100.000 and or a jailterm of 3 months for something and than we all know that if you bribe them nothing happens... All laws have this and the RTP is too lazy to enforce anything
  23. There is no control on anything in Thailand, that is why it is a mess.. The police doesn't do anything, the Thai people don't care about anything with the result that it is a mess and things like this are happening.. If a old grey haireed man comes at 14.15 to buy a can of Singha it will be refused. It would be better to show an id by doubt about age before you can buy alcohol
  24. We know as we live here, but tourists.... They have no clue and it is all very confusing.. The first day arriving in Thailand, sitting on the beach at 15.00 and they go to the 7/11 to buy a can of beer, to relax and rest from their jetlag... But than they tell you impossible only at 17.00... And if you are lucky there are local elections, or there is a Buddhistic holiday there is no possibility..That will give tourists a feeling of welcoming, as they passed a grumpy immigration officers, was ripped off by a taxi and now no can of beer or glass of wine... They will be sure coming back and tell their family and friends about it..Not all tourists are drunk always, but just this outdated law should be abolished...I think it is very clear to see how old some one is and if you doubt ask for a ID.. They will see I am not 18 anymore with my grey hair
  25. Employment should be based on your real capacities and not on a fake degree
