School Bus Crash in Phetchabun Injures Around 40 Students
ikke1959 replied to Georgealbert's topic in Central Thailand News
Safety for kids is an issue for the Ministry of education.... Therefor they allow a schoolbus like this, Kids being transported as cattle with no safety at all and outdated truck. Put a driver with not a proper education and no awareness in it and don't maintain the vehicle and safety is guaranteed -
Thai people are peeing everywhere every day.. I see daily truckdrivers at the roadside peeing "against" their truck, motorcyclists or car drivers peeing at roadsides and even in front of the Big C taxi motorcyclists peeing against pillars of the passover on the road, while the toilet in the Big C is almost as far as the pillar of the overpass.. But when a non Thai pees in the sea it is a shame.... My conclusion is getting more and more that Thailand doesn't want foreigners, only want the money tourists are spending, and articles just as this shows I am right and many more...

Bangkok cracks down on smoky buses amid pollution crisis
ikke1959 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Last week I saw totally new blue busses.... I was shocked, never expected that as all over in Thailand the busses and especially in Bangkok are soo very old and so black fuming or because of the old engines polluting the air, that it was possible to have modern probably Electric busses.. So change them all and also make old car free zones as in many other cities -
Of course noise pollution again..... If people had a bit of common sense they would not make so much noise.. Even in a restaurant there is no normal conversation possible.. I loose my appetite and try to get away as soon as possible or I try to eat at a time that there is no music at all... And neighbours even televisions are so loudly and I don't understand why.. and than some people they are talking so loudly that sometimes, at least at my house, we can hear what they are talking about although they don't live next to me but are separated with a soi and several meters away... BUt nobody cares unless there is a problem

The court accepts??? It is their duty to enforce the law and those who commit crimes like this should be get a severe punishment wit or without showing remorse....That is the whole problem in Thailand...no enforcement of laws and punishments....Judges should should be working for the people, instead for the brown envelopes

Thai tomboy assaulted by neighbour over loud noise in Pattaya - video
ikke1959 replied to snoop1130's topic in Pattaya News
Thai people can't play sounds on normal level.. Everywhere you go there is much noise even when they speak with eachother they have to scream and parties and temples activities the music is so loud it can be heard km's far.. Today there is a kind of shadow show somewhere but we can hear it inside my house, and also in shopping malls, hostesses are screaming in the micro and nobody is listening and shopping at any Big C, Lotus's Tops or wherever seems like a club than a relaxing shop... So although I feel sorry for the tomboy in this case, but probably it was not the first time that she had too much noise, and it is known that loud noise is used sometimes as a torture.. No wonder that people act like this... it is the drop- 25 replies

Thailand must update their old laws so that foreigners can do volunteer jobs too.. and must be tax friendly, scrap the alcohol control laws, lower the alcohol and foreign food import taxes, and be friendly to foreigners.... That will do more good than easier visa conditions...Don't see a foreigner as an ATM, or a criminal, or someone who will destroy the Thai culture...because that is what is being done now..

Anutin Demands Severe Penalties for District Chief Corruption
ikke1959 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
This man is good for nothing.. He should do his own first properly as he refused to sign the Equal Marriage Bill which brought a lot of confusion all over the Amphurs in Thailand.. Besides that his mismanagement in the Covid crises and his anti foreigner policy and his own corruption with the elections, should be wise to keep his big mouth shut- 12 replies

The school and the neighbourhood should be ashamed.. They know what is happening and left the kid alone.. The school should have interfered as he did not come, and many other organizations failed, as we are used in Thailand...Nothing for the poor but everything for the rich. -
Fears of Chinese New Year Tourist Drop Amid Human Trafficking Alarm
ikke1959 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Not only the human trafficking is thread but also I think there nothing special anymore ... I was a few days in Bangkok and there were only restaurants as Japanese, Thai, Korean and Chinese and everywhere MK like style restaurants... Nothing else to find. Happily in the soi of our hotel there was El Gaucho an Argentinian restaurant a French restaurant and a Tapas bar... And the shops are all over the same, cosmetics, clothes, shoes and drugstores...So I was wondering what has Thailand to offer to tourists??? Shopping is very expensive eating is everywhere the same choices, and danger on roads and scams all over the country... No wonder people going to find other destinies. -
300 same-sex couples to wed in Bangkok as new law takes effect
ikke1959 replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
Mr Anutin is too budy with other things as he still refused to sign the law again. Except that it is a pity that th organization of the mass wedding did not announce what they are organazing. Simply a autograph will not attrack many couples, but with several activities it would be possible to get many people as they wanted. -
