Nationwide Face Mask Distribution Begins to Combat Air Pollution

The masks were never gone.. Unbelievable how many still wearing masks since the Covid crisis.. I wish they did the same with wearing helmets, but that is too difficult. -
Thailand Urges Local Action Against Alarming PM2.5 Pollution Crisis
ikke1959 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
But today the air was healthy..... So no problems today and for tomorrow and next months they don't care as the never didin the last months. Just because the RTP is not enforcing the laws.. As soon as this institution is going to function things will be better in Thailand, but I think first built a total new force as the current one is only pocketfilling -
how many meals do you have on a day? Be fair... in these times when everything is getting more and more expensive is 30 THB nothing. The minimum wages should go up so that people get more to spend every day, every month. That will help the economy although the greedy CEO's claim the opposite. I prefer only monthly payments of at least 14k a month working max 9 hours a day and not more than 6 days a week... Than people are getting paid too in the so many holidays too, and you will see these holidays will be reduced very quickly...but for the low paid people will get a daily wage of around 500 THB a day 13k: 30 days is 466 THB a day

Phuket to use AI for traffic congestion relief amid road projects
ikke1959 replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
Indeed and put a policeman around and the mess is complete.... When you can't drive they whistle drive on drive on ... and when it is green they stop you to let another car go first..and of a green wave they have never heard when the first light turns green the next will turn red,, suppose you could let get cars go... Best place to see it is Hua Hin.. and with all the sois, where cars come out and chaos you find there every day -
Indeed I could by 7,5 egg size 1 for 30 THB... And when I go to the market I can buy 1 meal of curry.... And of course I know It will be spend on alcohol and lottery, because the first is to drink away the misery and the second maybe we win more money to get a better life... I know enough people who have difficulties with making ends meet.. And if they borrow(ed) money they never will pay or be able to pay it back.... while others don't know what to do with their families, watches, cars and millions of THB...

Phuket to use AI for traffic congestion relief amid road projects
ikke1959 replied to webfact's topic in Phuket News
AI will probably do better than RTP. I have seen many times that between two crossings, one police officers let the cars drive and at the same time at the other crossing the cars are being stopped or guards of schools hold up the traffic with a result of severe congestions.. And that is not only in one place.. I always say that if the RTP is starting to control the traffic it will be a mess -
Is it not the PM task to make this kind of announcements? Besides 10k over 1 year is 30 THB a day. The poor can not do much with it and the ones with 500k on the bankaccount or 40k monthly income, are not really in need for it...

I glad you did a deep investigation on it and got an university degree for it, although all over the world scientists have other proofs.. But I think who you are and you changed your name and profile so just leave it... I better discuss things with people of my own higher leveled education...They come with facts and own opinions instead of only comments -

Where do you write that you like them and respect them? Sorry I can't respect your opinions..You pretend you don't care but when reading your posts it is clear you don't like them at all And you have no clue that pedophilia is something totally different than being gay -

Those who are opposing homosexuality or are homophobic are mostly people who have homosexual feelings but don't dare to come out and hide these feelings by insulting those who dare to admit it. words for teh same of homophobia is not accepting gay people, negative comments on gay people, accuse gay people and many more...So you can state that you are not homophobic but you show in your comments you don't like them -
I have neighbours too who can't talk normally.. A woman is screaming when is talks and her kid is doing the same.. Of course they follow the example.. We can take part in the conversation, so that is what I do I scream too and sometimes I answer with the bit of Thai I know in the garden so that they can hear me and that will solve the problem for a few days.... So when you are sick of it, just do the same

Bangkok fights smog with free public transport for a week
ikke1959 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
years of pollution cn not be solved in 1 week free public transport. But enforcement of the laws, and a working RTP together with strict measures for less pollution. Yesterday we went from Bangkok to my home and we saw at several places near the road wildfires, at least 30 very heavy black smoke fuming cars, and I told my partner this is only what we see and there will be many more on the roads.. and that for weeks or months. How can you solve the problem if you don't start with strict measures and heavy fines?? The corruption is is a few hundred THB and they go on. Why not announce that these black smoke fuming cars have 2 weeks to solve the problem and after that they will be fined with 5000THB or have to stop their car and can drive on when the problem is solved... Besides that a lot of old cars ar driving on the roads. Invest in replacing these old 40 year old cars and lower the particulate matter.. Same for wildfires.. big fines for it, but the RTP doesn't care if you call them. So nothing is be done and it will get worse year after year -
Thailand's First Equal Marriage: A Step Towards a Better World
ikke1959 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Yeah you better can be born in a "normal" marriage and dragged in a divorce with a fight about the custody of the kids.. Sorry to read that you are not aware of the difference between gay and pedophilia. I know several gay couples with kids who are very happy together and no problems at all..But how many times we have read here that a stepfather or grandfather or uncle abused kids??? That is ok as long as these kids are not adopted by gays -
Love Wins: Bangkok Celebrates First Day of Equal Marriage Says "I Do
ikke1959 replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
And as usual, a lot of paperwork to fill in. I spend a lot of money for my papers to be translated into Thai, but when we let these papers checked it was required that my partner filled in all the information again on 2 other papers...I don't understand what the purpose was as they had everything in Thai on the legalized papers already.. But Thais love paperwork and papers... I will never understand it -
Lawyer criticised for opposing equal marriage in Thailand
ikke1959 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
There is no marriage needed to breed children, but apparently he doesn't understand that... How many unofficial married couples have children?? Besides that if he dislike the gay marriage why is he not coming up with something that protect relationships in general?? The problems arise when people die or get sick or serious injured or don't have any family... But with the brains like he has I am wondering how he became a lawyer- 95 replies

Thaksin Reveals PM's Anti-Pollution Plan Initiated from Davos
ikke1959 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
They even can't stop the blacksmoke cars.., Today we went back from Bangkok to Phetchaburi and we have seen at least 30 cars with heavy blacksmoke..There will be many more but no RTP to be seen... Also for the wildfires.. in several places we saw smoke from wildfires although it seems to be forbidden, but as long as the RTP does not enforce any law and stays lazy nothing will change- 59 replies

Thailand Introduces Online TM6 as Tourism Fee Faces Delays
ikke1959 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Maybe Thai immigration should build a good computersystem and use a good program instead of all the extra forms documents and everything else ... One time in the computersystem should be enough..Why when people get an re entry have to give again all passport details copies, and when return adress notifications, same with the 90 days..Nothing is connected nothing is working properly as you extend your visa all the paperwork has to be done again..so now they first got rid of the card and we go back again to the old system with the difference of an online card.... Are there any brains ??? -
Thaksin’s Medical Leave Under Scrutiny: Protests Demand Reimprisonment
ikke1959 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
The PM should indeed act against her father, but she will never do...Thaksin should be jailed again as he too much involved in politics now and seems to have taken over the role of PM. All Thaksin what the news is, while he came under false pretentious into the country, not in jail, but with fake health problems.. But as usual he is the one with the most money, influence and he is unstoppable..If nothing happens I am afraid that the country will be thrown back again by a coup- 63 replies

Thaksin blames Prawit for political turmoil amid coup fallout
ikke1959 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I believe Thaksin is a bigger threat for the country than Prawit.. 2 coups already took place while Thaksin clan was in charge and now when I read aseannews, there are more topics of Thaksin than of the PM who should be in charge, but it seems that daddy is taking over the party and the Government and I am wondering how far and how long it will be accepted- 55 replies

Banged up: Thai prison nightmare exposed by British tourist
ikke1959 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
There is even a movie about Bangkok Hilton with Nicole Kidman, and even now it seems that nothing changed in all the years.. Sadly people in prison are humans too and need to be treated a bit decently. Of course Most of them are not for nothing in prison, although punishments are often, as we can read several times, being money or being jailed. Especially when you don't have money you will end in jail, and I know from a ex prisoner that things they want to buy are extreme expensive. Human Right Watch is right that things have to some things have to change in Thailand and this is one of it.. a little bit humanity would be normal
