Anutin Clarifies Alcohol Sales Will Be Allowed During Extended Entertainment Hours
They'd muck that up and you'd land up with 4am to 5am only on days which don't have a Y in it.

Do you mean date for 2 to 10 years or date 2 to 10 year olds . Can be read either way.

How long can a US citizen stay in Thailand each year on tourist visas and/or stamps?
True, like the one that tried to tell me I must have an Embassy income letter for a retirement extension as well as having 1,600,000 Baht in a Thai bank account.

If the 6 months happen to equate to 180 days or more, you could find yourself subject to Thai tax on the money you bring in to spend during the whole year.

Entertainment Venues to Open Until 4 AM Starting December 15
Operating illegally so lets change the laws to make it legal. What's next, murder is illegal so lets change the laws so it doesn't happen any more and thereby stop the tarnishing of Thailand's good name / reputation.

Banknotes from 10 years ago still accepted?
Fully agree with both statements, the satang coins are a pain in the A$$, many including Thais just throw them away as getting a 7-11, or Big C or Lotus's to accept them is often hard as they don't really want them either. They must cost about 10 times the face value to make.

Banknotes from 10 years ago still accepted?
Yes but don't let them go in the washing machine and say you "laundered" them

Failure to file Annual Tax return = 200% penalty? (180 days)
Misconceptions. You need to read the DTA (Double Taxation Agreement) appropriate to your Home Country / Country of Residence / Source of Income. E.G. In the UK/Thailand DTA the only pensions that get relief (i.e. pay HMRC, pay Thailand, claim back from HMRC) from Double taxation are Civil Service & Local Government pensioners. The DTA is silent with regards to taxing / relief of State & Private pensions. In saying that I personally don't believe too many will be impacted significantly enough to cause them severe problems. Those that use an agents 800k for their extension and a foreign Credit Card for daily money would be almost untraceable in the Thai banking system, to the extent that trying to identify them to pay tax would probably be more hassle than it's worth.

Scb Ez Account Paying Interest Every Month?
Interest is calculated on a daily basis, therefore a 30 day month will have a different value to a 31 day month, not forgetting February.
-
Scb Ez Account Paying Interest Every Month?
Same for me, EZ on 25 Oct and credited to the account. The data sheets for the Jai-Tem & Standard savings accounts are both showing interest paid on 25 June & 25 December, wonder if they are going to change them too.

TM47 form 90 day report.....Whats the scoop on this nonsense?
Every office I have dealt with have required a completed TM47 and passport copies, some only face page and latest stamp through to every page of passport and a copy of the TM6 - Arrival/Departure Card. You've been lucky if you've managed to avoid it till now.

Has anyone else seen this lack of knowledge by some here while using a drill
Don't know if this is what you mean or not, but when we had our kitchen extension built and they installed the window shutters, all the hinge screws were hammered home with not a screw driver to be seen.
