Big difference between private sector operations and government operations. The big issue with ID cards for voting is that if voters are denied ID cards, they lose their constitutional right to vote. There is no constitutional right to attend a private rally. It is not unusual in the Deep South for counties that are largely Black to not have an office that can issue ID cards.

If you believe that candidates micro-manage the details of their campaigns, you are confused. Or, you are trolling. Meanwhile, Trump doesn't have a campaign to micro-manage, he is relaxing at home.

I am sure Kamala Harris personally checked everyone's ID at her rally (that's sarcasm). The reality is that candidates don't organize their events. And if the Arizona rally was by invitation, checking IDs is appropriate. Meanwhile, Donald Trump is getting crazier every day, and you don't care.
