You will get a Thai birth record After that your family in Thailand has to bring the child in the Tabien Baan ( House Book) then he /she is assigned a Thai national citizenship number. For a minor who wishes to apply for a Thai PP, needs a 13 digit Thai citizenship number + certified copy of Tabien Baan. Good luck

I have been giving all these documents since the last 5 yrs. This is not a new requirement. Two photocopies of EVERYTHING (passport, wife's ID, marriage certificate, tabien baan, bank letter, KR2 from Amphur, etc) which I had. At CW, I have supplied only 1 copy of each document, never a problem (I renewed in Dec 2022) Maybe a new requirement to supply two copies?

Vat Refund for Tourists conditions - Goods must be purchased from stores displaying the "VAT REFUND FOR TOURISTS" sign. Goods must be taken out of Thailand with the traveler within 60 days from the date of purchase. Goods must be purchased at least 2,000 baht (VAT included) per day per store. On the purchasing date, tourists must present Passport and ask the sales assistant to issue the VAT Refund Application for Tourists form (P.P.10) with the original tax invoices. Tourists must present the goods and VAT Refund Application for Tourists form (P.P.10) with original tax invoices to a Customs officer for inspection before check-in. In case of luxury goods (jewelry, gold, ornaments, watches, glasses, and pens of which the value is over 10,000 baht), the tourist is required to hand carry and show the goods again at the VAT Refund for Tourists Office, after passing the immigration checkpoint. Tourists can claim a VAT refund at the VAT Refund for Tourists Counter at an international airport, or drop the documents into the box in front of the VAT Refund for Tourists office, or mail the documents to the Revenue Department of Thailand.

Who can claim a VAT refund Those who are not Thai nationality Those who dont have a domicile in Thailand (Only those with single entry tourist visas) Those who are not an airline crew member departing Thailand on duty. Depart Thailand from an international airport. Purchase goods from stores displaying a "VAT REFUND FOR TOURISTS" sign. Present the goods and VAT Refund Application for Tourist Form (P.P.10) and original tax invoices to the Customs officer before check-in at the airline counter on the departure date.

Nope. If you have any visa apart from a tourist visa, youre out of luck, sir

You have to show the box, the merch and the PP 10 form to the custom officer at the airport. You have to be on a tourist visa with no re entry permit.

Story Of My Thai Citizenship Application
DrJoy replied to dbrenn's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
AFAIK multiple entry visas are not accepted by the ministry. It has to be an extension of stay from an Immigration Office but you can call the ministry on the number below and clarify yourself - MOI Pathumthani : 02-791-7329, 02-791-7332 Good Luck -

Non Bangkok candidates get interviewed by their Provincial Halls. After that the file is sent to Bangkok (MOI) where it waits for the approval of the big committee. Standard wait time for provincial candidates is 40 months from start to finish.
