  1. Vat Refund for Tourists conditions - Goods must be purchased from stores displaying the "VAT REFUND FOR TOURISTS" sign. Goods must be taken out of Thailand with the traveler within 60 days from the date of purchase. Goods must be purchased at least 2,000 baht (VAT included) per day per store. On the purchasing date, tourists must present Passport and ask the sales assistant to issue the VAT Refund Application for Tourists form (P.P.10) with the original tax invoices. Tourists must present the goods and VAT Refund Application for Tourists form (P.P.10) with original tax invoices to a Customs officer for inspection before check-in. In case of luxury goods (jewelry, gold, ornaments, watches, glasses, and pens of which the value is over 10,000 baht), the tourist is required to hand carry and show the goods again at the VAT Refund for Tourists Office, after passing the immigration checkpoint. Tourists can claim a VAT refund at the VAT Refund for Tourists Counter at an international airport, or drop the documents into the box in front of the VAT Refund for Tourists office, or mail the documents to the Revenue Department of Thailand.

  7. Non Bangkok candidates get interviewed by their Provincial Halls. After that the file is sent to Bangkok (MOI) where it waits for the approval of the big committee. Standard wait time for provincial candidates is 40 months from start to finish.

Get Citizenship Certificate from Special Police + 3 certified copies of RG (Not applicable to Women Candidates) 9. Name entered in the Blue Tabien Baan (Non PRs) + THAI ID card issuance at the District Office 10.   11. If you live in the Bangkok Metropolitan area, CW is your only option. Your only option left is in person/agent assisted. 90 day reports can be done by Thailand post 15 days before the due date. So try to use that from the next time. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/90days-report/
  12. Yes its the MOI interview. They are inviting 2020 applicants now, so you maybe called as stated by your SB Officer. The usual wait time from NIA to MOI interview is 18 months but it varies considerably for many applicants. Standard wait times include 18 - 30 months Getting worried in case the documents go missing somewhere. It will be too much of a pain to start all over again - Thats not the case, all the documents are handled responsibly by the SB Police, NIA, MOI. I have never heard that the Ministry lost documents of a particular applicant, So dont worry in this regard.

  14. Another Thai nationality Interview was held on 30-MAR-2023 17 Ladies 44 Men March turned out better for the applicants. 2 interviews in a month.
  15. A Thai divorce certificate can be presented if divorced, provided it mentions that the sole custody of the minor is with the foreign Father.
