  1. Apparently you are on overstay, since the day she withdrew all the money , your retirement extension is effectively cancelled.
  2. If the account is 0 for more than a year, its closed automatically. You need to open a new one , requirements here - Document required for Foreigners - Passport Visa (non-immigrant VISA) or identification documents issued by the government of the country of the nationality such as national ID card, driver’s license, House Registration, etc. Documents per the objectives of entering Thailand : - Work in Thailand : Documents showing permission to work in Thailand, such as Work Permit - Retirement in Thailand : Proof of address in Thailand such as house / condominium rent contract, water / electricity bill, etc. - Study in Thailand : Certification letter issued by school or educational institution. https://www.kasikornbank.com/en/personal/account/pages/savings.aspx
  3. Yes. The owner of the house has to personally visit the district office with you and vouch for you. Sometimes a witness is also required. You will need a certified copy of your passport (your embassy) + Thai translation + certification from the Thai MFA
  4. You can DIY on the Section 38 application, pretty easy. Screen shot of the app is accepted as proof by the Immi Officer
  5. Its mandatory to be in a Bangkok Tabien Baan otherwise the Special Branch Police will simply not take your application. If married to a Thai you are not required to sing. You cannot choose your points or requirements, Minimum 50 points are required to qualify. Speaking Thai gives you 8 points
  6. As arkady said, it will be risky. However, if you really cant keep your job or get fired etc, you may want to start your own small business and get a WP. If you see the nationality act, it clearly mentions that the candidate must have an occupation. That being said, nothing is written in stone but on this forum all of us will agree that you must maintain WP thru out the processing period Hope this helps
  7. If not married to a Thai, you have to sing Thai National Anthem, Royal Anthem from memory, in a clear precise tone. It may not be everyone's cup of tea. There are reports that one individual was not able to sing in a clear tone, he did not pass that day and was told to be there in the next MOI interview.
  8. The tests are quite tough , if you are not married to a Thai national
  9. Nope. MG 4 and ZS Ev have an excellent set of air conditioners. Both under 1 mill thb
  10. Wrong. Thai PR holders have the Blue book, their name is entered in the original blue Tabien Baan.
  11. The yearly insurance of the volvo xc 40 is 155,000 THB. Just FYI.
  12. Yes. CW Immi accepts any savings account without passbook. Peace.
  13. Contact your nearest District Office or a lawyer
  14. @onthemoon Any update for your MOI interview?
  15. Dont cancel WP, your application can get stalled for good, not worth the risk.
  16. I think it was like this for those married to a Thai national - 40,000 thb to 50,000 thb = 15 points 50,001 to 60,000 = 20 points 60,001 to 70,000 = 25 points
  17. Nope. Checking visa is none of the Banks business neither its in their authority For example - Thai PR holders do not have a visa/extension of stay in their passports, that does not mean they are over stayers or illegal immigrants.
  18. You may need to contact the Head Office of your Bank to get an English tax report
  19. Yes, only past interviews are published on the DOPA website. I will let you all know, if I get the info. The purpose of this thread is to help all the new and future candidates applying for Thai citizenship. @david143 David please share info about MOI interviews , if you get any before me. Good Luck
