1. Birth Certificate - The US Embassy does not stamp/verify it anymore. Alternate is to get it stamped by the Thai Embassy in Washington DC https://thaiembdc.org/ 2.Your US DL has nothing to do with this process. 3. AFAIK Foreign Women married to Thai men do NOT need to show any WP. Your Mans documents/earnings will be checked. PND 90 or PND 91 of your man. Minimum salary of 30,000 THB monthly 4. Yes company documents will be required 5. COR - Its only for those who hold Thai Permanent Residence 6. Alien Book - Its only for those who hold Thai Permanent Residence Hope this helps -

Yup. You write anything and they simply stamp it. Signature verified Details here - Affidavits An affidavit is a sworn statement of facts, made voluntarily, and confirmed by the oath or affirmation of the person making it. This includes statements that you are free to marry or any statement that you yourself wrote and are having notarized. Please note the Embassy and Consulate assume no responsibility for the veracity of the representations that appear in the affidavit. Only the identity of the individual making the statement is validated. https://th.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/local-resources-of-u-s-citizens/notaries-public/ -

UOB Bank Thailand
DrJoy replied to Flyguy330's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
I have Thai credit cards without any fixed deposit, but I hold a Work permit. Fixed deposit option is useless. as @nigelforbes said. That is a diff criteria, its investment method. If you have in excess of 2 Mill THB in your account , you can get a credit card without any document/Wp etc. -

So the best way is to travel from bkk to cm? Flight take a train? Can it be fun? or is 9 hours of hell? Never on time, sometimes takes upto 11 hrs. Is there a huge price difference between plane and train? Depends on the class of the train ticket 1st Class train ticket is approx 1450 THB which equals to a plane ticket. However, 2nd and 3rd class are significantly cheaper. Check the schedule here - https://www.dticket.railway.co.th/DTicketPublicWeb/home/Home is the pollution now at its worse? Yup

Bingo. Anyhow there is no point in complaining. Simply close the Bangkok Bank account. I have been with K Bank for years, I feel they are the most foreigner friendly. If you have a yearly extension of stay based on retirement, shouldn't be problem with getting an account. I recommend this branch in Bangkok - Kasikorn Bank, Phahon Yothin Branch, 400/22 Phahon Yothin Road, Sam Sen Nai Sub-district, Phaya Thai District, Bangkok 10400

Not sure abt the British embassy but the US Embassy provides a service known as Signature attestation. You can declare anything as a statement and the US embassy stamps it for a flat fee of USD 50. My friend did the same thing, and that stamped declaration was accepted by the Thai district Office without any question. So if the British embassy provides such service, save yourself from this headache. Some embassies refer to this service as Notarial
