Agreed. Spent a month in Bangkok Pattaya when I smashed my knee to bits wakeboarding (only thing stopping my lower leg from falling off was the skin that was still intact). The bill for that was well north of 3 million (when adding the continued visits and surgeries that went on for another 12 months). Super glad I had decent medical insurance to pay the bills.

Valves have seals (stem seal) not gaskets. Just saying. -

Toyota Camry's have been in production since 1982. In 2012 they moved to electric steering, the Camry in the vid does not have electric steering so is 2012 or older. As I said, on modern day cars is not a conventional pedal activated brake light switch. -

Nah , the snapped rod falls to one edge of the bore under the piston skirt and shunts it all up. -

You don't think Unburnt fuel makes it into the sump degrades the oil? Best we agree to disagree and terminate this exchange. -

Doubt that filter does much filtering of unburnt fuel that degrades the oil to the point it creates friction on the bearing surfaces. -

The oil on the shelf is sitting in a sealed air tight container. Oil sitting in the engine sump on the other hand has been exposed to moisture (condensation), unburnt fuel, heat cycling ETC ETC. Best to follow the manufacturers recommendation in my opinion. A few liters of fresh oil and a filter is far far cheaper than replacing a junked motor. -

Because the oil breaks down causing friction on the big end bearings. One seizes then the rod snaps punching the piston up into the valves ever so slightly bending the head. Then the head gasket leaks aKA is blown !! -
43k is cheap compared to the bill for a covid related hospital stay. If you cannot afford it.... Don't come !!

If one cannot afford insurance they most certainly cannot afford fall ill. Not seeing any downsides to this requirement myself.

Tough choice for the ladies, make a few k per night swilling drinks with friends and coping a few short times. Or earn 300b for a 12 hour shift in a plastics factory.
