Par for the (Thaivisa) course and not just EV threads!

Governments provide Tesla's charging stations? Really? Serious question.

Quite right, the ultimate "sad" is announcing to the forum that one person has been put on an ignore list, an action that has no effect whatsoever on the "ignored"!

Toyota ... having a problem simply keeping the wheels on their EVs. Not any more. 2,700 cars quickly recalled and the problem remedied after only 264 went to customers. Toyota provided replacement vehicles while they were being sorted, offered $5,000 compensation and offered to buy the affected cars back.

Which comparable Chinese cars are "poor quality" in your experience?

I'm guessing that you've not seen the most recent Camry as you're referring to looks. They are good-looking cars, Teslas aren't anything special aside from the potential performance that most people will never use, or need.

Work permit - syphilis test
Liverpool Lou replied to gascooker's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
"...syphilis test" You have a concern?! -
Happened to me , I had a minor cut that got infected which quickly spread because I was unable to get to a hospital and when I got to a hospital they were considering an amputation but they would try some anti biotics first and they wouldn't give my any treatment at all until I had paid . I was in a hospital begging for an injection to take the pain away ........................and then I had to go outside to find an ATM to make a withdrawal to pay . The infection would have killed me, had I not paid You have my sympathy, but I was asking him because he said that he knows of "so many cases in which emergency care" was refused. I went to Camillian Hospital with a ruptured appendix, a life-threatening condition, and was given immediate assistance. In the Emergency Room while the initial examination was being made I was asked how I would be paying. I told then with cash and showed USD500 that I had on me. They didn't take it but were perfectly happy with that to proceed even though it was nowhere near enough to cover the emergency surgery and subsequent hospitalisation costs.

I would report overstayers, child abusers, yaba dealers and murderers. "...child abusers, yaba dealers and murderers". Irrelevant to this thread and my question and is just an attempt to deflect and derail the thread. You also avoided the other question I asked that is absolutely relevant to your attitude towards law breakers whom you would report, but, just to remind you... "Have you ever broken any Thai law, however minor, or taken advantage of lax law enforcement in any way, since you've been here?"

I do hope that you are not condoning overstay - or other illegal activities................................ Did I say that I condone them? But, regardless of whether I do or do not, why would you hope that I, in particular, would not condone them when there have been so many other posters in various threads recently fully supporting overstayers and calling out IB officers for doing their job that you have not expressed your hopes about similarly?

Can you use a phone? 02 018 0000. You'll need to know how to click the correct option, though.

Not likely if you've been told that TP would be handling this part of the delivery.

I had a phone call from the Thailand Post office for my area yesterday (they used to send a notice by post), told me that a parcel from Japan was there and there was B1,020 duty to pay. Has to be paid in cash and I took it home with me.

British woman breaks nearly every bone in face in Thailand
Liverpool Lou replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
An inane assertion posted by someone who knows nothing about the business. The insurance industry is highly regulated and if it was a scam wouldn't still be around. Somewhere in the region of 90% of all insurance claims are paid out to the claimants/policy holders, and when you need it, you'll find that it isn't a scam
