  1. https://aseannow.com/topic/1262213-makers-of-browser-privacy-extensions-fear-the-end-is-near/?do=findComment&comment=17409250 I haven't been send any unsolicited mail in the years I've been using it. You don't think that all the other browsers are not dong anything that link suggests Brave is doing, do you?
  2. "All three surviving victims remained at a hospital as of press time. Don Hu Lo police said they would interrogate all of them to find out why the deceased woman was in such a hurry. It was unclear what charges would be pressed". My guess is that no charges will be made against the dead woman driver.
  3. I'd suggest Brave browser.
  4. I have apparently Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II could do a very convincing Scouse (Liverpool for non-Brits) accent,a Scottish one also with the actual Aberdonian regional accent where Balmoral is situated! Apparently you don't know the meaning of the word "factual", neither do you understand the content, nor the context, of my comment. What does the "Scouse accent" reference relate to?
  5. It's a normal landline number, not a "freephone" call.
  6. We are.
  7. Perhaps it was you, then!
  8. Nonsense, if English is selected the spoken English is perfectly understandable. Just did it.
  9. Customers can also phone them to speak to a real person.
  10. Only if a credit card was used.
  11. They do the same as in every other country, they investigate reported burglaries after they've occurred.
  12. https://www.ecocar.co.th/en/van Not an Alphard but it's got the seating required.
  13. Well, the UK for one. If you really want to know Google it. No, the UK does not require that, DVLA requires a self-assessment, that's all. If you really want to know, ask me, I renewed my licence at 70 online, there is no driving test required. Don't rely on Google!
  14. If it takes you 5-10 seconds to hit the brake there's not a hope that you'd pass it! You're expected to be able to do it almost instantly.
  15. You'll have no problem with Immigration as it is a new application that they are looking at, they'll not be investigating an old, expired and now, invalid, one. They will not care where you're previous visa/extension came from, it's not as though IOs are unaware of the existence of visa agents!
  16. none of that is an issue.. And almost all of the UK banks open accounts fully online now.. Your impression is simply not how it really is. My wife managed to open a Monzo GBP bank account within 24h of getting off the plane, simply with a UK prepaid mobile SIM in her phone. My "impression" is the result of experience of trying to open a UK account from here. The OP is not in the UK. How long ago was your wife's account opened, was it opened without you there or without your assistance? Did she have a credit record? An income? This is what Barclays, for example, require for a new account opened online currently... Things you'll need Your addresses for the past 3 years – your current address will need to be in the UK Your income and employment details, including full company address If you’re resident for tax purposes outside the UK and/or a US citizen, you’ll need your foreign tax residency details and tax identification number(s)(TINs). It’s a regulatory requirement for all banks to ask these questions That's just the first page. Don't imagine the others will be much different.
  17. He needs to open a new account and he won't be able to do that in the UK without proving his UK-resident status: ID, utility bills and being on the electoral roll. Most banks, if not all, will require him to be there in person also. It's not as simple as just pretending to have an address by using someone else's.
  18. Good for the Nationwide, you got lucky. Did you actually tell them that you are not a UK resident, though?
  19. Hahahahahaa...! So there was a general election in 2019! That's all I claimed, thanks for confirming it by your deflection!
  20. Water-based pant has been used in the automotive industry for years so it would not be unlikely that SRT used it on the trains.
  21. They may live in Thailand where your pension is frozen on the day you get it ,but if they keep a UK address and bank ,perhaps they get the yearly uprises ,get it? Nothing to do with the OP's question or my comment. Get that?
  22. I believe Wise have a card that can be used anywhere. No idea as to fees attached to that though. According to their website, an ATM card is not currently available for my Thailand location, neither were they when I opened my Wise account originally.
  23. you dont think that they have not told the pension service as well do you? I've no idea but what's "the pension service" got to do with the OP's question or my comment?
  24. But no ATM card in Thailand and he wants a bank account; a Wise account isn't a bank account.
