Brown's relationship with Harris gained renewed attention in early 2019 after she had become a U.S. senator and ran for president. Brown addressed the questions by publishing a piece in the San Francisco Chronicle titled "Sure, I dated Kamala Harris. So what?" He wrote that he may have "influenced" her career by appointing her to boards and supporting her run for District Attorney, but added that he had also influenced the careers of other politicians. Brown noted that the difference between Harris and other politicians he had helped was that "Harris is the only one who, after I helped her, sent word that I would be indicted if I 'so much as jaywalked' while she was D.A. That's politics for ya". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willie_Brown_(politician)

With apologies to Johnny Angel (1961): ScubaScuba, how I want him How I tingle when he passes by Every time he says hello, my heart begins to fly I'm in Heaven I get carried away I dream of him and me And married we will be Other fellas call me up for a date But I just sit and wait I'd rather concentrate On ScubaScuba 'Cause I love him And I pray he'll someday marry me And together we will see How lovely Heaven will be

I think that 'could be' title belongs to Joe Lieberman: Joseph Isadore Lieberman was an American politician and lawyer who served as a United States senator from Connecticut from 1989 to 2013. A former member of the Democratic Party, he was its nominee for vice president of the United States in the 2000 U.S. presidential election. He was the Democratic Party nominee for vice president in the 2000 presidential election, running with presidential nominee and then Vice President Al Gore, and becoming the first Jewish candidate on a U.S. major party presidential ticket. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Lieberman

But you remind me more of Eddie Haskell as in maybe Hello Mr. Mahoney -- that's a lovey dress your fake wife is wearing today.

Well that's a different topic but Yes. It will take them another 5 years to break-even on me. And I have a back-up plan which is part of my due diligence (your favorite term as to what I didn't do) What i've read on here (briefly) is that if their going gets tough, they may try to fund ways to deny a claim -- but that hasn't happened yet

Anticipated responses. Take your pick: That's what they all say. Yours is fake, no doubt. ... and her brother.

OK -- and just to add I was generally pleased with CIGNA although I had no claims. The problem was when I moved to an area with no direct payment hospital and the way they chose to deal with that circumstance I found not acceptable.

But according to your wording, they 'usually' don't.

This is from my CIGNA Global UK policy issued by CIGNA (Life) Belgium The accompanying verbiage: The overall medical benefit limit per year of insurance per member is 1000000 USD

I don't pay my wife. She now has a good job for her expenses. I pay in part the court and creditor fees from, after having a good job before, when she co-signed loans for her Thai boyfriend who split and left her with all the bills after she lost her job upon COVID. All long before getting married.

How Trump’s Plan to Secretly Meet With the Taliban Came Together, and Fell Apart Published Sept. 8, 2019 Updated Aug. 29, 2021 In the days that followed, Mr. Trump came up with an even more remarkable idea — he would not only bring the Taliban to Washington, but to Camp David, the crown jewel of the American presidency. Before the end of the meeting, Mr. Khalilzad brought up the idea of a Taliban trip to Washington. Taliban leaders said they accepted the idea — as long as the visit came after the deal was announced. But little was made of that at the time. The endgame of the talks seemed near, if not the timetable. Only then came Mr. Trump’s tweets on Saturday night disclosing that he had invited the Taliban and Mr. Ghani to Camp David — but called it off, citing the bombing. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/08/world/asia/afghanistan-trump-camp-david-taliban.html

Biden's News Conference: A Mix of Defiance and Missteps
jerrymahoney replied to Social Media's topic in World News
OK. I thought YouTube is blocked in China if that's where you are. If you really got stuck I was going to offer to make an mp3 of the Presser which you could download from here or PM. Transcripts are always subject to opinion when dealing with a mumbler -- the NY Times and the White House are still venting on "goodest" vs. "good as" which is still jumbled anyway.
