They (Barclays) did this to me around 8 years ago with little or no warning, sending a check for the balance (that I would never be able to deposit) that never arrived. Without going into too much detail, I realistically owed them more than they owed me, so I wrote them a letter asking them how they expected me to pay my liabilities, since the account they demanded to close was my only viable means of making regular payments in the UK. Never did get a reasonable response. My position ever since is that I do not recognise the debt and I've not heard from them in years.

My logic above is wrong. If the falang controls 49% of the voting rights in the subsidiary company and 49% of the remaining 51% (by controlling 49% of the parent company), then the falang does have effective control of the subsidiary. I can't see this being legal, but I'm not a Thai corporate lawyer, so I'd ask one.

Are your ONT and router separate boxes or are you trying to reduce the function of your current ONT/router to ONT only? For the past 8 years I've had fiber and only ever had a single box. What feature set are you trying to add by replacing the router? For me it was better wifi separation / bandwidth limits per wifi zone and permanent VPNs to the internet in general or specific customers, all of which I can achieve with my router sat behind (LAN side) their router, so effectively double NAT between my local network and the ISP. It adds an extra hop and makes things like UPnP more tricky, but for what I need it works just great.

As with the above poster, I don't know where you're getting the 75% foreign ownership from. Thais have more say in both companies. If the combined foreigners in both the parent and subsidiary companies join forces, there is still a majority of Thais that could overrule them, assuming that all shares hold the same voting rights.

Most paint manufacturers offer standard variants for describing colours - mostly CMYK or RGB. You should be able to get the CMYK or RGB values for your Australian colour and then go to the TEA website and enter those values to get the closest match in their range. The match will be so close that unless you tried to use the Australian and local paints together on the same wall, your eyes likely wont be able to tell the difference.
