I paid both my deposit and then final payment on collection via mobile app transfer. That was their (and my) preferred method. Toyota.

You missed a great opportunity. It was a Nigerian prince with his entourage and he needs someone to help him get his huge $$$ inheritance out of the country. I have an email to prove it.

Personally, where I don't want tiled flooring.... I place a rug over tiled flooring. With the humidity and dirt of Thailand and the ease of cleaning / relative ease of replacing, plus the sheer variety of tiles available, I'm not sure I'd have anything other than tile here as the floor base. Rugs in certain places break up any monotony, echo and coldness of plain tiles.

Russia could run out of money next year, says oligarch Oleg Deripaska

I guess my point is that I wouldn't expect a large state to use phraseology that I mostly heard 50 years ago in the playground. eg: "he made me do it" or "you're not my friend". I also find it somewhat interesting that the self imposed leader of the world's largest nation states that securing borders and the lack of a buffer zone are some of the reasons for invading a neighbour, while at the same time not really hiding the desire to recapture an empire of the past. That kind of sends conflicting messages. The guy is short in stature but huge in ego. Changing legislation to be able to remain in power, along with the forced oppression of any opposition, or taking power by military force (got to be careful what I say there) is not often a sign of a leader who has his populations' best interests as a core motive. -

If I was a head of state I wouldn't be using Twitter, Reddit or anything similar as the basis of my foreign diplomacy stance. -

I keep hearing words similar to this from Putin, Lavrov and Medvedev. Accusatory remarks about "unfriendly nations" and "provocative behaviour" from the mouths of those that ordered an invasion of their neighbour. I'd put an invasion at the top of the unfriendly and provocative list. -
On a drive from Hat Yai to Krabi, where would you stop off?

ThaiWatsadu have them. HomePro certainly have the arbor (the part that the actual cutter attaches to). If you're having to drill many holes, buy a decent, specific, single holesaw of the correct size. The multi-packs that contain 8 or so different sizes that all fit onto the same holder will annoy you over time. The single holesaw will be a complete circle and have teeth around all 360 degrees. The multi-packs will have inferior cutters that have a slot in them (not a full circle). Something like this is ok - https://www.thaiwatsadu.com/th/product/ชุดดอกโฮลซอว์อเนกประสงค์-GIANTTECH-รุ่น-41060S-(ชุด-14-ชิ้น)-60277283?cate=580201 (although it is a multi pack and might not contain the actual size you want) Something like this is junk = https://www.thaiwatsadu.com/th/product/ดอกโฮลซอ-PUMPKIN-PRO-รุ่น-26308-เจาะไม้-(ชุด-7-ชิ้น)-สีดำ-60173509?cate=580201

Where have I (or anyone else here) said that science knows everything? Your labeling of science as primitive is showing your bias. Perhaps you might try to be a little more open minded? That's a really poor example to use. Science has helped prevent multiple forms of cancer, in some cases approaching 100%. Science has helped cure multiple forms of cancer. I am alive today purely because science helped me rid my body of at least 2 forms. Perhaps if the intelligent designer hadn't created cancer in the first place then science wouldn't need to bear the burden of it's eradication?

Immigration Detention Centre, but took me a while to get.

Also bear in mind that, depending where you're travelling from, you may well need to declare the cash on departure. Eg the UK requires this for amounts of £`10,000 or more for the combined group you're travelling with. Even if you have less than this, they have sniffer dogs specifically trained to find cash. If signalled and even if your cash amount is well under £10k, they can confiscate it on the spot if you cannot prove right there and then how you obtained it. Many flights have been missed and holidays ruined because of this. That £10,000 or more limit is not just cash either. Covers some cheques, bullion and a few other things.

Probably the best example of a post of yours that I'm mostly in agreement with. The only thing that I would add is that the existence or not of a higher power is/should not be weighted on whether the world from our perspective would be better or worse, not least because that would be a subjective perspective with a high degree of variance per person.

Love this post. It reminds me of some of those close to me, one in particular very close. All but one of them is on the "possible but improbable" scale of the "do you believe in god?" question though. This brings me to one of my main points of skepticism / confusion / amusement. These friends can and do gaze into all around them in absolute awe. They can marvel at the billions of years of evolution, natural selection, sheer luck or misfortune, cosmic events and a myriad of other factors that have shaped the world we live in. They can see past all that is physical, are less egotistical or narcissistic than anyone else I've ever met. They understand the equivalence of mass and energy and they have minds open enough to see possibilities that many of us could not. Not one of them would get into a discussion of more than a sentence or two about the existence of an intelligent designer though. Excepting the biblical, the "Seth's" or anything else paranormal, there is little that I've seen posted in this thread, on the basis that it gives people a more "non-physical" (I was going to write spiritual there but it is almost synonymous with a belief of a higher power) connection with all that can be, that actually needs the existence of an intelligent designer. In other words, it is absolutely possible to be at total peace with your inner self, to see past all that is physical, to marvel at the beauty and complexity of nature without having to insist on its' creation by a higher power. Perhaps its the smarter outlook too.

Much of your comment here is well thought through and puts your perspective in a good light. Criticising a field that has advanced somewhat exponentially doesn't fit that pattern. Come now. I'm happy to term them spiritualists rather than knuckleheads.

You're stating 300 years as if it's a long time. A long time in comparison to what? The existence of man? 0.15% The existence of planet Earth? 0.00000625% Science has taught us that, from the perspective of a photon, 300 years is an instant. Some clever stuff in that explanation, so far from a bunch of knuckleheads. If the soul is eternal then the current caretakers of those souls have had an eternity to rid the universe of doubt. Not doing to well from that point of view, but I still wouldn't label them as knuckleheads.

Buy some 7 in 1 pool test strips so you can test the most important chemistry yourself. They take seconds to use and the chances of anyone even noticing is pretty low.
