What about the encouraging of mindless-consumption of unneeded garbage as an illogical and temporary solution for propping up the economy? Does this ever work in the long-term? And, what benefit does the economy derive from this illogical behavior, assuming there actually IS any benefit. The fundamental problem is that Economics remains just a pseudo-Science. All pseudo-Sciences cause confusion. One might just as well worship the Sun, as worship GreenSpans, and his fellows. Anyone here believe that Economics is a .....SCIENCE?????? Or, is it a religion?

Thank you for your good answer. But, I have a choice. I can stop buying. It's not that I do not have the money to buy at inflated prices. It's just that I feel rather scammed when I buy. I also do not buy into the theory, or any theory, that mistakenly states that there is no better solution. Yes, Biden and Trump, in some respects, are birds of a feather. Although, knowing this, I prefer Trump.

Monopolies did not begin with Gates and his monstrous monopoly, Microsoft, of course. Gates, at one time, tried to stamp out Linux, as you know. Fortunately, Linux proved to be fairly impervious to the GOLIATH, Gates, as he soon found out. If you ask your wife, she will always tell you: You think too much. I must agree because, I am also one who tinks too much. One way to combat tinking too much is to engage in sustained exercise, such as walking 20 kilometers per day, at a medium pace. 25 kilometer walks are healthy and require about 5 hours of one's time. During walks, don't tink too much. Instead, listen to Thai-language tapes of books written at one's Thai-language level. Also, try not to have "too much time on one's hands". And, yes, do not drink or imbibe in any other mind-bending substances. Our brains were not designed to be polluted by drugs of any kind, drugs such as nicotine, caffeine, etc. Get enough sleep, too, please! Mark my words: If you follow the regimen I have summarized here, then you will only think good thoughts, and you will become far more creative in your tinking. Creativity is such a blessing. I am thankful to have been born a creative person. However, for those less creative, then there are things one can do.

Obviously, if the gov is seriously interested in dramatically reducing injury on the local roads, then this can be done...in One Fell Swoop. We just need to make it a law that all cars need to be equipped with these kinds of devices..... I plan to postpone my trips to the bank, until January 15th. In fact, I will not leave my compound until that date. Saves stress and wear-and-tear on the psyche, too.

Why is this period of time so dangerous, I wonder. Anyway, in order to partially mitigate risk to my life, I wear non-slip flipflops in the shower. Just too many accidents do I read about, involving showering. Therefore, I have taken steps to mitigate this risk. Concerning driving on the roads. One could either drive on the sidewalks, pavement, which might not be good. Or, one could reduce speed and not imbibe, meaning do not ingest alcohol or other mind-bending substances. I hope we all can stay safe this year, and the beginning of next year, too.

This may be true, one must admit. However, with closer attention and better vetting, then this risk can be much minimized.

Indians are NOT needed in the USA, now. Too many of them. Culture is garbage. I want many more Chinese with PhDs. Chinese are hard-workers. Also, much more honest.
