hopefully the government has made the necessary capital investment and set up enough labs with the capacity to process the anticipated huge number of arrival tests, plus an efficient infrastructure to transport the samples to the labs and be able to effectively communicate the results - within 24 hours.

most other countries haven't opened up until a large majority of the population is double vaccinated, so that would be a useful benchmark - you don't have to be a highly qualified medical professional to see the sense in that.

inclined to agree, not sure what the benefits of a COE are, and it will be an administrative nightmare for the consuls when tourism really takes off. on the other hand, thailand has been trying for years to flog mandatory insurance to visitors, this may be their opportunity to implement it full time. some quick research indicates around 40% of brits travel without adequate insurance; is thailand prepared to risk losing this market share?

ah... those street food stalls... there's a parking place for many street stall vendor's carts near my place. they are left there out in the open, i often seen rats, cats, dog and cockroaches crawling all over them. I have never, ever seen a vendor wash or clean their cart before using it for food preparation, cooking and selling. enjoy.

Clean your data and remove images and videos when selling phones or having them repaired. er, yea, obviously... it's common sense. but, the problem with common sense is that it's not that common...

Airline Requirements with Regard to Vaccinations
it is what it is replied to LongTimeLurker's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
friends have recently visited various european countries for holidays, all report cursory, at best, checking of vaccination documentation. going forward unless there is an internationally accepted standard, that cant be copied(!) how much value is there? and anyway these checks will soon be nothing more than the shining a torch into handbags checks at mall entrances
