If there are no wider economic benefits from this election bribe they will be in even more trouble come the next election People forget financial incentives very quickly. The will never forget or forgive financial penalties such as higher inflation, increased borrowing costs, increased mortgage premiums......ask the Tories and the UK electorate.

I would have to agree.... ....but I'm sure many on here (from the UK at least) are old enough to recall when honour and honesty were much more prevalent in politics. Now lying is just second nature and worse, seemingly, acceptable to most people.......and Trump is primarily responsible for this sea change in standards in public life............secondly only to Boris Johnson.
