  1. I wouldn't waste my time, it's like trying to tell a child the world isn't flat. Comparing an 11 yr old Swift to any EV ... IGNORANCE IS BLISS Not surprising his microwave is crap, since he can't pick a good car ether. I peeked at Swifts, a bunch of cheap plastic interior, and didn't even bother with a test drive, as not something I'd want to sit in. I'd take the Neta Vs over any JP badged entry level car 'made in TH' And for 150-200k less price. These trolls haven't a clue ... sad really. Have hard time replying to their silliness any more without saying something offensive.
  2. Great ... a 'what if' situation. It doesn't cost that now to replace the battery, let alone after an 8 yr warranty. And the whole battery probably wouldn't need to be replaced, just the module not performing. Another 'what if' ... the car last even close to the almost 1M kms expected. Oh crap, that's only 50 years of driving for us, what will do A Swift, and an 11 yr old one. My condolences
  3. Wonder what conglomerates are behind that move. Probably the same that killed GM's electric car almost 20 years ago. Not hybrids, but pushed hydrogen back then ... see how for that went, but gave them ~20 more years of profits. Anything to keep the oil flowing and the high operating & maintenance cost of vehicle ownership going.
  4. You can add Mr Covid to the sub sub sub forum also Just my opinion of course. Although, if all the TH, RU, CH bashing & every freaking MVA wasn't posted ... there wouldn't be much left of the forum to read. I come in on the 'new content page', and it is a quick read. Can easily do 12 hours in less than 5 minutes. Open the 3 or 5 that might interest me in another tab, then come back and read them. But EVs, Solar, Food & Out and Abouts probably bore the hell out of other people. It is what it is ... Mango, pineapple, papaya
  5. Good for him, choosing family over attending the 'circus' in town, OK, out of town ... 😎
  6. Yellow book definitely helps, as no need for CoR, hopefully, dealer & province dependent.
  7. Age - avoid tax if car out lives you.
  8. I believe it had hold of a 'sensitive' area, is the blip I read. Probably not knowing what it was till he killed ... those 2 factors give him a pass. Guess I'm a bit pathetic also, as not many I encounter do well after the encounter, if I'm not 100% sure it's harmless. Family takes priority.
  9. thanks, as I actually just ran out of. Starting to make all my own condiments, and this will be the first. Waiting to run out of the rest.
  10. Counter to everything you're told, eat protein, lean or fatty, doesn't matter, but balance the fat in the protein, with added or cooking fats. Sort of a keto-ish or even carnivore diet. Though myself, don't think I could handle a hard core carnivore diet. Scratch non fibrous card, and as much (all) sugar that you can. Actually you can eat almost as much as you want, without getting silly. Proteins don't seem to taste as good, once full. Not like carbs & sweets where you can gouge yourself. Add a daily intermittent fast, overnight is the easiest, as you're sleeping through half of it. 12-15-18 hrs of no food. Drink lots of water, especially first week, and your body will stop storing water. Good for a couple kgs losss right there. Drink a good bit with your meals, as very filling and good for digestion. Whole foods (learn how to cook) are best, and read any processed food's label, or, my thinking is, if it has a label, I kind of avoid it to begin with. If I need to read the crap that's in it, I'll pass. Here's a list of 'keto approved' foods that I actually eat, and are available in TH. I whittled down the full list (photo), to what I actually would eat and what's readily available here, I think. Lot more on the list than I thought would be. Actually more approved, but not readily available or I simply wouldn't eat it.
  11. Not much of a competition in my eyes, as neither destination interest me. Or the other 2 countries, if they were expat friendly.
  12. All the changes have been a positive IMHO I'd like to see foreign adult entertain ghetto areas (nana, cowboy, silom) shut down, as simply embarrassing, but easily avoided, and provides an income & tax revenue stream. It is what it is 😎
  13. Some might say, they present content on yoru own searches & viewing. Why I get a lot of drone, EV, RC, bike, holiday destination, food and photography unwanted posts. Just a thought ..
  14. Take my lowly shoes ... that will teach No wai-ing the offended car 🙏
  15. Never heard of comedy You did see the post I was replying to, since it was yours.
  16. bush 2 & obama, getting re-appointed tells you everything you need to know about USA politics. Yanks need to get ready for 4 years of harris. Here's your president, take it or leave it .... cheney in control, how can anyone not see what was coming ... ... I LEFT 😎 Trump was like an anomaly in the Matrix
  17. 2 different drugs used for the same result, except one isn't physically addicting. Nobody wakes up in the morning and has the shakes, if they don't smoke a doobie
  18. We haven't fixed anything in almost 4 yrs, give us four more. Sadly, it worked for obama ... go figure Som nam naa
  19. Rain during rainy season ... who would have thought
  20. After opening the border to all, 3 yrs later, they decide to do something. And that is suppose to be a good thing ?
  21. I think originally it was a 'tax' thing. Now it's a health concern, but when enforced, I think it's still a tax thing. Not sure if law been passed yet banning due to health.
  22. Not really. Suggested friends or reels, just ignore. But the other suggestions are annoying. Just use drop down, 'don't want to see' or whatever it is, and get rid of the 5-10 new ones on you feed, and that seems to turn them off for a month or so.
  23. Same, but no equity built up, while married to #1 & 2. Not till about 30 yrs old was I debt free, or monthly payment free. Tenants paying the mortgages, then all cash kind of guy, unless a new investment. Rinse & repeat. Wife #3 (Thai), big mistake, and imaginary safe with some paperwork. Thankfully the family liked me more than the wife, and didn't cause any trouble. Escaped that marriage ASAP, no financial loss, though walk away investment really. POA, so kept proceeds of house sale. GF/wife #4 (Thai), and long courtship, 2nd house all her name (walk away investment again). Eight year living together before marriage, and just for the hell of it. No decision to stay in TH, till daughter out of school (before Uni), and house sold. 3 yr tester living out of the NE (Udon Thani), at PKK before deciding to stay in TH. House & toys #3, all in her name. If she can put up with me this long, (18 yrs & counting) she deserves everything ... So, anyone need relationship advice ...
  24. That's why we stuck with the MG we ordered, as BYD ATTO 3 was just hitting Thailand. BYD certainly has set up a massive amount of dealers in a short time. GWM also. Seeing and driving the daughter's Atto, still happy with our choice. Would have stuck with the ZS if we had test drove the Atto back then. Driver's seat is definitely made for a smaller frame, and I'm not large, 175cm / 80kg. Very nice car though, would definitely recommend anyone in the market to give a test drive.
  25. And yours is trolling AN ... do you need a degree for that comrade BYE BYE ... Have a nice day
