  1. He's your clue ... "dump truck, with its body unintentionally raised" The raised long bed 'bucket' striking fast & hard enough (w/very strong rear hinge), to lift the frame off the ground, with enough inertia to do a 180 back flip, before the crosswalk came crashing down. I'm curious where the cab is. Be funny if it didn't disconnect, and got catapulted over the crosswalk, in the opposite direction Hope the only thing hurt was the driver's pride.
  2. I've drank my share of instant, and enjoyable, but to compare fresh ground coffee, brewed properly, is like asking a Guinness drinker at the pub, what's wrong with Archa beer from 7-11. One of those ... "If you have to ask ? "
  3. No real surprises ... ... Truffles ... Maple Syrup ... Wasabi ... Parmesan Cheese ... Vanilla ... Caviar ... Honey ... Olive Oil ... Wagyu Beef ... Coffee ... Saffron
  4. Could leave their nationalities out of headline ? ... ' drunks in punch up on Bangla ' ... ' hooligans make fools of themselves ' ... ' 2 groups of adults, that can't handle alcohol ' ... ' yet, another quality tourist disturbance on Bangla ' ... ' results of more alcohol and longer opening hours ' ... ' a study of ... why you don't make eye contact with drunks ' ... ' just another night on Bangla ' ... ' quarter finals of international world punch up league '
  5. Don't need no stinkin' oil .. ... Y'all can save It for something else, maybe plastic bags, and save the trees
  6. @33 RPMRead the label for %... ... 3% ... 6-10%
  7. If not used, you lose it quick. I was fluent in Spanish. 15 yrs later in Mexico, and no way could I have a conversation with anyone. Not even the basics. Where here in TH, I can get by, but never studied the language, and rarely speak it. Getting by, doesn't mean having an intelligent conversation with anyone. Just can function without a translator.
  8. A 3 yr can do that, and didn't fall over. Not sure I want her running the govt either
  9. Yea, what up with that. I see the ZS is back on sale Our insured value coverage is a tad more than new sale price. Kind of hoping someone steals it, as long as the dog isn't in it, and we get a new one
  10. Agree with title of the thread. Biden is way too unfit to serve as president. The only amazing part is, they are actually considering propping him up to serve another 4 yrs. Brilliant if they can pull it off, but doesn't say much for the voting publics intelligence. That's scary, let alone harris as VP, being next in line when the inevitable happens. Be a great comedy script it it was so sad.
  11. Starbucks Foundation ... putting money back into the community. What have you done lately, besides complain ? Anyone forcing you to buy a cuppa from SB ? That they are extremely good at the business of selling coffee and munchies, benefits everyone involved.
  12. Sexual pleasure in normal. Doesn't matter with who or how it's achieved, that's up to the consenting partners. Nobody decides for someone else how to be happy. There is no right or wrong way to enjoy life. Nobody is forcing anyone to watch ... change the channel, or fast forward. Society at risk ... Who's doing who is the least of society's concerns.
  13. 600ml ... that's literally 3-4 servings of coffee in most shops, so quite the bargain if you ask me @ 48-36 baht a 'cup', in comfy surroundings w/AC.
  14. Take the blinders off. People going to the mall for SB, aren't the poor, but the middle class. The poor go to the mall, to work, hit the food court, maybe, and suck up the free AC, and internet, as their fast promo ran out a week after paying. They're not living in the condo, townhouses, single family dwellings, unless there's 3 generation there. One has a scooter, one has pick up, 10-15 yr on, and they don't turn the AC on, if they even have it. Buy one grilled chicken for 7 people, along with their sticky rice and som tam, for dinner. Dining out is a plate or bowl of noodles away from the house. Try living on 10k a month, with any rent, utility, transport payments, petrol/bus fare to work, and then divide what's left by 30, and that's your daily food allowance.
  15. Shoes on the other foot now ... ... although, if convicted of insurrection, that would be a stretch, then the SCOTUS would have to rule against Trump. If they didn't already rule the conviction was unconstitutional. Meanwhile, trillions of tax dollars will continue to go unaccounted for, and digital currency will become a reality.
  16. That seems like a waste of their time, unless he's been convicted of already. Which case I missed the memo.
  17. Since already have bb caps, add grey tint sunglasses to you accessories if not already. Polarized wouldn't hurt either. I was advised to wear shades to slow the progression of cataracts. Along with some drop, which do seem to work.
  18. Think they've been watching too many sci-fi movies
  19. On that, wasn't impressed, but, did just finish my Jimmy Dean' brekkie sausage (copycat recipe) and Damn tasty. Wife sampled for the first time, and said "make more". Already in the freezer honey ... 'make more', again. Guess she like it. On topic, washed down with my 'strong' cup of coffee this morning, more than usual, (50gr vs 30gr). Posted before, but this make a fine large cup of coffee, and been my 'go to' of late. Nice ratio ... 30gr to 500gr water. Saves me a lot of coffee, as was doing 50gr with drip method, for same yield 👍 I do plunge, a bit more yield, no sludge, as I pour through a paper filter. Peeked at Starbuck beans online ... damn pricey
  20. Kellogg's do. Nestle, not so much (as fast), and depending on bowl size, two smaller servings instead of 1 large serving helps, if a slow eater Simple solution to simple problem.
  21. didn't watch whole thing, but may interest you @ 5:50 of vid ... no need to worry
  22. Transgender woman in the headline does a disservice to trans-woman. What happen to 'thieving LB or scum bag katoey'. Or more appropriate, just some cross dressing dude...IMHO Wearing gold and or any jewelry on holiday is just stupid. Nobody here for you to impress. Leave that crap home when going O&A.
  23. Also had Vios, tough not sure about squeezing 600 kms out of it, though definitely 500+ kms. 👍 but the worst new car I've owned here. Performed well, as expected, just the ride on the highway was terribly loud (road noise). Since half my kms are 'on the road', not pleasant at all. Don't think any EV drivers are going to get stranded in TH, or need to detour to charge, unless in the most rural of areas, and only one I notice that might have a problem, is Umphang, if going to the falls. Although with regen, so probably nothing to worry about. Though charging at any guesthouse would be a deciding factor to stay ... The CS network really is extensive in TH, so kudos for that. And apparently inexpensive to those that cry about rates in UK & USA. 600 kms if able to average 80 kph, is 7.5 hrs. I really do welcome our stops after 3+ hrs on TH's roads, if we can even manage a 3 hr stretch without stopping. Not saying I haven't driven 500 kms in our Vios when having, 15-20 yrs ago, but did stop a few time, since with wife & kid. Simply impossible not to. The additional time to charge, while stopping, really wouldn't add that much time to the overall journey. Now, I actually plan to do research on phone while there/stopped, and rarely waited for the charging to finish before leaving. Usually the opposite of late. Charging is done first. ICEV have their place for those driver's who have to be there, ASAP, with no interest to peek at things along the way. Or if time restrained, and or, time is money. No EV owners dispute that. As a truck driving, days past, I've done 16-20 hrs at a stretch with minimal stop, and simply P'ing on the side of the road. Also done the same trips (Philly PA, USA - S. Florida), non working, and at much leisurely pace, though didn't overnight. Stopping to rest, eat, a bit of fun, & wife driving also, made that possible.
