  1. Might look familiar ...
  2. All I'd state to the OP, same as everyone, simply ignore the 'opinions' on this forum/thread. Thankfully in TH, you have a wide and varied choice of both ICEV & EV (BEV or PHEV). Suggest you do as I do, and 'shop' specs first and compare, for value to baht, before even stepping into a dealer. Whittle it down to what you want, and how much you want to pay for it. Then go test drive, and lease your final decision for a week, before buying. I would ignore the anti EV/CH trolls, that have never owned, or even driven an EV. For that matter, may not even own a car (one vocal one on this thread now). Happy Shopping
  3. On the subject of canal side / floating markets, there's Ong Ang Walking Street, and quite nice, at Krung Thep, and we've been a few times. West side of ChinaTown, MRT very close and couple bus lines cruise, so easy to get to/from. Non canal/floating market, but needs a mention, Sunday Old Town Phuket night market, quite nice.
  4. Like Krabi town, and haven't been in long time. Almost popped in last time time close, at Phang-nga, but car was acting up, and wanted to get back home. Turned out to be a damn loose wire Was at Ao Nang a couple times during the 'situation', for a pit stop/overnighter, and lovely, though most things were shuttered.
  5. Leftovers for a mid afternoon snack. Wife whipped up a Ginger Pork & shroom thingy the other day. Running out of different things to post Think I need to do some experimenting soon 😎
  6. You got me thinking after reading your post / Everest 3L, so curious that I am, this may interest you. Now that I see you're not as closed minded at I thought. Happy Shopping
  7. Thoughts from another thread. Not even considering the Haval H6 has a 32kWh battery, with NEDC range of 200 kms, so really life, probably 150 kms knocking around town, on full electric. Everest is a fuel hog 24/7. Havel H6 will save you big baht when O&A Along with saving you ฿580k when you buy it. Im thinking a nice installed Solar System for the house, w/change in the pocket. Even more savings. Having Solar & BEV saves us from ฿6 - ฿10k a month, from electric & petrol costs, if not more. But hey ... UP2U
  8. And yet your OP is asking to improve water pressure ... go figure Have a nice day
  9. Didn't see it, or I wouldn't have wasted my time. Usually don't respond to the closed minded members. You need better apps for better info ...
  10. Saw that, typing at the same time. He's a bit faster than me. 5 charging stations for all of Phuket He will be living there, and can plug in at home, imagine that. @fezza On Phuket a few times since owning the ZS, not problem charging. And if he gets the Haval H6 .... he'll definitely be happy
  11. A mere 10k baht, (tank & pump) and that cheap enough for a comfy shower & water pressure every time you turn the faucet. You could do it on the cheap for <1000 baht, Simple trash can & sump pump
  12. Scratch that post, and edited it out already to emoji From you post earlier, if you want performance, take a peek at the Haval H6, best of both worlds.
  13. Lets think on that ... women's rights to education from male dominated societies of the past would explain a lot of that. Now more current times ... ... men seem to give women, anything they want ... who walks out of divorce court with a bigger smile ... how man AN members cry on here, "ex got everything" In TH ... WW III scenario. World goes to sh!t, supply lines down, world trade stopped. Do you want to be living in your box room condo at BKK, CM, Patts, or living rural with your Thai wife, who can live off the land, along with some local farms still bartering food, probably to Thais only ? If you can get past your misogynist thinking ... ... wiki ... 101 ... scientist ... etc & etc I don't see a whole lot of women, paying men to be with Now ... who's the smart one, and who's the idiot 🙄
  14. Finally found the one I was thinking of, best one for food, and I was the only foreigner there, 4 years ago. Sept 2020, so during covid, and would explain no foreigners there. TH still shut down at the time, thankfully, as reading current reviews, seems quite the tourist spot now. Got to love a good pandemic. Over by hwy 9 (west), well past most of the local canal floating markets to Bangkok. Khlong Lat Mayom Floating Market
  15. Most women are smarter than most men, everywhere, not just TH.
  16. You're spot on, and I doubt he'll do anything. Chances are she won't get the blame as causing. MB's reckless driving caused it. Does she have a cam, if not, need to get one. He won't claim insurance, as his parents, will lose their no claim discount for next year. Ignore till receive letter, or police demand to chit chat, the file report and get ins. involved as you suggested.
  17. Probably correct, and Amphawa has to be 2nd worst, as canal part is so small, and actually dangerous to walk when crowded. Though does have huge market surrounding it, that get's packed in. Hence my earlier comment about timing is everything. Best floating market is insider ICONSIAM Mall ... Khlong Bang Luang Floating Market, is OK, but never been on weekend Bang Phli Yai market is good, actually burnt down & rebuilt years back Not sure if 100 Year market is still running, that way out of town, eastward. The best one, canal at Krung Thep, I forget the name of, and Gtimeline is useless any more, since only accessible on the app, and it sucks now. Oh well ... remember it was split by highway going overhead, where you had to duck a bit, to get on the other side of it. Really good food, whole roast pigs, seating, drinks. Easy parking.
  18. Most are simply along a canal, and not actually floating. Some have vendor on boats, but few do or few vendors. Some tied up to serve, some floating by (more at tourist market). Have never ordered anything off a boat, as hygiene issue, canal water splashed & the don't have running water. There just another place to knock around and get a munch at. Might find something unique to buy. People watch from a perch, watch canal life float by. Some fake for tourist, some very real everyday living. We always enjoy getting out for a stroll and some Vit D. Many, most I've been to have seating. Timing is everything of course, as some do get busy.
  19. All I want ??? ... to kill ??? You forgot Kraits, Green pit vipers/all vipers (too many) & all Cobras No need to worry about Sea Snakes, as you'll be dead before you reach land, or even back to the boat ...
  20. I only buy frozen salmon, partly for the reason in the OP. Kills most things, and most proteins get frozen. Has to be below freezing. If not frozen, then cooked to proper temp, though I usually throw most in the freezer. Many things bought already frozen. Sushi grade fish/seafood has to be frozen just for that reason.
  21. May need both, depending what you get bit by. Hint, take a strong piece of garden hose with you, on the way to hospital, as you may actual need to be 'vented' on the way. @ 11 mins of vid ... it can kick in fast
  22. Too cool ... and no charge for the ride ... 😎 TP not included
  23. Venomous vs poisonous snakes ... yes, there are poisonous snakes. Although, usual be eating poisonous 'food w/toxins', such as Crocodile Newts, which are in TH. Not sure if snakes other the Garter Snakes (which I don't think are in TH), dine on them too much, or are immune to their toxins. if eating a snake, you probably wouldn't be eating the liver of anyway. Now you know ...
