  1. A bit off topic, OK, a lot off topic, but you didn't mention Frank. Quick, (failed) search of his infamous quote while PoPo commissioner during the Holmesburg prison riot, turn up this bit of info. Human experimentations
  2. What are we living for ......tomorrow...and hope its as good as today or yesterday.
  3. Whipped up a quick & easy pizza, for lack of better name. Used one of my flatbreads Simply sliced tomatoes for 'sauce base' (too lazy to make sauce or do dishes) Some spices Grated some cheeses Popped into air fryer to melt all together ... damn tasty Thought about putting roasted peppers on it, but instead served as side dish. Tested a pepper hot (microwaved) and taste better not hot. New York Style pizza fan myself, and in a pinch, Pizza Co's version will do, though a bit different from their original. Outer crust wasn't as soft and chewy as before Not sure chain wise, or just that one did it different. Rest of crust, under toppings was fine. 18" not longer on the menu, only 15" If at Krung Thep, SoHo Cantina (Soi 11) does very good pizza. Though daughter said 'they'll slipped a bit' since last time wife & myself have eaten there.
  4. That why in the real world, sushi must be from frozen seafood.
  5. As with most things here ... "if you can't find 'XXXXX' you're really not looking very hard. Pineapple on pizza & good pizza ... blasphemy or at least, a contradiction of statements. I've had more than a few very good pizzas here/TH. Most prepared by the local, and yet to have a excellent one prepared by an Italian.
  6. K&A was always a drug fueled sh!thole. As long as I can remember. The Zombie thing is pretty funny... Rizzo ... love or hate him, he kept most of the city safe.
  7. Divorce her now while 'she wants' to. Doesn't get any easier or cheaper. All of 15 minutes at amphur office. Count your blessings.
  8. It's called politics. Support EVs, which USA isn't known for producing, or cater to ICEV auto makers in more than a few states, that produce vehicle: Michigan. 43,800. 123,000. Indiana. 56,800. 51,400. Ohio. 21,100. 64,900. Kentucky. 23,300. 32,900. Alabama. 19,500. 25,400. California. 32,300. Texas. 14,900. Missouri. 11,600 Remember he lost Michigan (#1 producer) late in 2020 election.
  9. If you say so, though I disagree, since the AC was used. All people & AC was released, so not so obvious, or as you earlier suggest, too much outside influence to bother with any real investigation. More that my original post, that/news-blip was just a big nothing, as nothing did or probably will come of it, besides just another distracting MSM news-blip/Ed-Op. Someone suspects something, but nothing can be proved or done, Almost reads like harassment of tourist ... Sort of like news-blips of MVA where there aren't even injuries ... what's the point.
  10. Maybe not related to the topic ... ... but tour companies & businesses charter planes all the time, since not owning a fleet of. Tourism is now Nicaragua's 2nd largest industry.
  11. Anything that can't be recycled, can be used for energy. It's just cheaper to throw it away. All about $$$ / ฿฿฿ and nothing else. TH even has a couple plants, although there should be 1 or 10 in all the provinces.
  12. One can only hope diesel is banned in the future, though certainly won't be in my life time. Could easily be done in personal vehicles, but that's obviously not going to happen. Maybe H replaces diesel for the long haul trucking / train industry. Though haven't bothered which is the better options LP vs NG vs H. All mute as long as diesel is allowed to exist.
  13. You were the first one to point out a member's possible lack of intelligence. I do realize some people don't have mirrors in the house. Or selective memory ... a reminder: Reads like you are questioning my intelligence. As if I'm not intelligent enough to know being deceitful is a requirement for a political career. hmm ... arrogant did you say. If the shoe fits ... Have a nice day ... BYE BYE
  14. Wouldn't think that necessary if intelligent people are reading the forum ... nuff said. I do take too much for granted at times I squeezed in an edit while you were typing, in case you missed it: "Of the 2 on this issue, since Israel hasn't relented it's 'attack', it's easy to believe which one, biden, is less truthful, or ineffective ... pick one."
  15. No, they are both verified liars ... repeatedly. Yet, people allow them to get re-elected/appointed ... you get what you vote for/allow .... nuff said Israeli & Yank problem, and sucks for them, living there, or supporting with their tax money. Can't fix stupid Of the 2 on this issue, since Israel hasn't relented it's 'attack', it's easy to believe which one, biden, is less truthful, or ineffective ... pick one.
  16. Apparently nobody knows or cares to find out, since all released to carry on 'their holiday'
  17. Intelligent people don't really believe anything anything that comes out of Biden's mouth or from the administration PR ... do they ? Netanyahu denies Biden influence claim
  18. TH is only country that got past research or a recon visit. If I have no desire for an extended holiday there, after a few visits, no need to consider for a retirement destination. Though most scratched off the 'list' of possible locations, was more about weather. Even the USA (home country). Tornado alley & hurricanes along SE USA & Caribbean, to Yucatan and even W coast of Mexico. Political unrest & drug cartel/kidnappings of S. American was a negative. Even though I would have picked up Spanish again easily. Cold air from Canada half the year scratched a good portion of the USA also. If not for the wee one, may not have remained in TH, so I can understand those that don't retire overseas because of family. Half year of smog in NE of TH, and the brutal heat & humidity can definitely turn a person off of TH.
  19. So a big nothing. The usual excellent investigative reporting by the MSM Yet appears to be very news worthy ... "Two suspected traffickers also remain in France for further investigation. However the two were set free by the courts. It was not clear whether authorities had definitively determined that no crime had been committed before allowing the plane to leave."
  20. Turned me into anti ICE anything Most of my daily riding around is on the E-MB, so aside from the black diesel belching out with every shift while accelerating down the road, even a few benzine cars in front of us, and the exhaust is just there, noticeable, stinks. Add that to any sweat and dust, and after on the scooter for a while, you just feel dirty. I don't even take the morning shower, until dog & myself come back from our morning ride, as I know I'll need to shower. Why shower before getting my daily dose of petrol fumes & dust on me. Something I don't remember in the USA, as main transport there was MBs also. And unless out all day, just didn't feel the need to shower after running errands or just O&A for a few hours.
  21. Probably just for locals if it is open: "The Singkhorn Pass is only open for Myanmar and Thai residents travelling either way for up to two days. It connects Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan (Thailand) with a very remote part Myanmar's Tanintharyi Division (nearest large town Myeik, although this would take over one day's travel)." No mention of being open on local forum. Even the market itself has been a dead zone for years. Was out there last month, on a Saturday, and not much has changed.
  22. Plastic is not as good as other things, but way better than using paper. Plastic isn't the problem, it's what humans do after they use it. No reason for any plastic to end up in the seas or landfills. As always, people are the problem.
  23. If you're not in almost constant pain with every movement, I'd pass on surgery also. Before I had surgery, I couldn't even roll over in bed without pain. Only regret is, I don't quit work right after surgery. Next day, and I was up, walking around pain free. Now simply some bending/mobility problem, nothing major. Though sitting @ 90 degrees or less, doesn't work well. Nor getting in and out of entry level sedans. Can't go back after have even a small SUV.
