Saw the Dolphin @ CS while O&A last week. Looks quite nice, though really do prefer the Atto 3. That's a pretty sweet ride, and I see a lot of those. Starting to see a fair amount of MG4s also. Along with Neta Vs. Very few 2022 MG ZSs ... ????

Why would I go to an overpriced celerity restaurant. Eaten at Smokin' Joe's (not a chef) numerous times, but actually knew him, and not overpriced, and a 1st class personality. A great man, and shame we don't have more like him. Haven't been to an expensive restaurant since I've been in TH. Was one nice one in Udon Thani, far from expensive, though many didn't go there and complained it was. Shame it, and another closed.

You apparently missed a few posts of mind. As my dining out budget in the USA, would surpass most peoples annual income. I don't mind springing for quality food, in nice restaurant, with good ambiance. I just don't find them here/TH. Or any to our liking, so we cook at home, and better than most restaurants that I've dined in here/TH. Think and assume what you want, but as usual, you are again, mistaken. And ... your point. Our 2020 ICE version, mid level (of 3 offered at the time) was 695k baht, and actually the entry level's price, so nice 40k baht off sale. Out 2022 ZS EV was 949k, so 254k baht more. Less than 5 yrs of petrol savings, and we'll recoup that, if we keep putting 20k kms a year on it, and petrol stays the same price. We charge mostly with excess solar, unless O&A.

Out for a Friday afternoon drive, OK, an O&A, as basically all they are. Only 7 days, as dropped the idea of visiting the bottom southern provinces. Just can't really find anything of interest that motivates me to go that small bit further south. Less than 1900 kms in 7 days. First day is always a killer, and a 6+ hour day. Not much we haven't seen between home & Surat Thani. Rest of driving is quite leisurely. No issue with CS, and more than enough. Left home w/100% and returned w/20% battery, so used solar for a good 500 of those 1900 kms.

I you think so, though personally, I'd spring for the extra 130k baht and get the Neta V, if just knocking around town. Get that extra buy in cost back on petrol savings alone. Choices. Nobody forcing anyone to buy either.

Probably not, at the time, as was quite happy with our ICE version of same, MG ZS. Hindsight, now owning ... hell yea, even though against my religion to pay more than 1M baht for 4 wheeled transport. It's a pleasure to drive, and no longer ignorant, as in 2020, the savings over the life of the car, will literally pay for itself, and so much more. So glad we waited though, as upgraded battery pack & 240k off, lowering the cost to 949k is just icing on the cake. Having solar is a great motivator also. Have too much excess solar, not to have an EV. How do you turn down, saving at least 50k baht on your transport cost?

I don't think they make one that crappy, or one anyone would buy. If you want to drive sh!t, then buy sh!t. You do get what you pay for some times. EVs in TH are no more expensive than Japanese imports. Entry level ICEVs, made in TH ... owned a few, never again ... ... nuff said

Hmm ... and yet, I get a whole tenderloin (frozen) from Makro, when available and looking good, for 800-1000 baht a kg. Cut about 6 nice 'hockey puck' steaks from it, and have the ends to toy with as I please. Why would I do anything with a tenderloin besides eat as a steak. Save slow cooking for lesser quality cuts of meat. Wrap a good steak in pastry ???? Save that silliness for a meat pie or sausage roll, as I want to taste the steak. I've had BW ... not impressed, unless you just like looking at your food and snapping a photo. Going out to a restaurant and ordering overpriced Mac & cheese ... Holy Buddha. I order things I can't or won't make at home. What idiot can't whip up Mac & cheese at home, to their liking. I myself like ham & tomatoes added to Mac & cheese.
