Quick reading, and I don't see it banned, if it is the 'secret chemical' in PA. Do you even know what it is ? How used, and where the use is restricted. Legislation is pending in PA, approved by Gov and passed in Republican controlled Senate. But didn't make it out of the Democratic controlled House. Not sure if below is pending or approved yet. "Pennsylvania: H.B.1122: Prohibits the sale and distribution of food packaging containing perfluoroalkyl or polyfluoroalkyl substances. H.B.1541: Prohibits firefighting personal protective equipment that contains PFAS. H.B.1571: Requires manufacturers affix a warning label to firefighting personal protective equipment containing PFAS chemicals.

Agree ... along with the irrelevant mention of CO & PFAs 160,000,000 lbs of ??? ÷ 5000 (more than) wells = <32,000 lbs ÷ 10 yrs = <3200 lbs ÷ 365 day = <8.77 lbs a day < 8.77 lbs of secret chemical used a day, in a well For perspective ... ... 1 gallon of water weighs 8.34 lbs That is some scary stuff I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight. Better call my 1 brother, as still lives in PA, and advise him to sell up and leave ASAP. And for GOD sake, don't drink the water or breathe the air. Who knows what secret chemicals may have escaped from the wells. No prob ... air & water filters are 'Safe & Effective'

Where women’s sports is being trans-formed !

I agree with that also ... but that would be equal. Off topic ... I try to state that when it comes to paying taxes, 1 flat, across the board tax, with no tax deductibles or loopholes. But nobody I suggest that to likes it, as would mean, I'd have paid much less taxes, and they'd have to actually start paying their share of. vid is on topic, for true equality in sports, deal with it, or .... -
Where women’s sports is being trans-formed !

Way it's headed now, woman's (biological) sports will cease to exist. What's the point if having to compete against a man (biological). Once the current trained woman throw in the towel, why would any younger ones even consider training & competing against men. Need to make a 3rd category 'Trans Championship', but will never happen, as no money or profit to made there. Who would pay for that ? Same will happen with women's sports. Biological women will cease to compete, and products will cease to sponsor, and attendance or viewing will drop below profitability. It's already a bit of a joke. Just a matter of time. -
Not really. Just enjoy cooking and prefer to eat quality food prepared properly, in AC comfort with nice view & uninterrupted by rude noisy, inconsiderate people, along with all the other noise & air pollution. Like my hot food served hot, and cold served cold, and at the same time. Not waiting, or finishing my meal before wife's even arrives or she already finished. All without the need to swat flies. Lobster (Maine) & salmon isn't cheap, or quality cheeses. From Cafe LA Or just straight up

That's a long piece of string with way too many variables. -

Haven't found anything in the MG manual about running it low, then charging it up to 100%. Just to charge up to 100%, occasionally, with 'slow charger' / <7kw, which is strange, as they supply you with a 7.4kW wall charger. I use the emergency charger (2.3kW) 99% of the time anyway, so guess OK there. When talking about equalization charging, it does reference the wall charger times. Supposedly, will tell my if needing to do, which I doubt I'll ever see that msg, as I top up to 100% quite often. Almost always, which is more than a few times month, especially during rainy season, as charge when I can, not when needed. Gets to 85ish %, and I'm plugging in 😂 Unless O&A locally, then takes couple days sometimes to top back up. My E-MB, I take down to 2 bars (20-30%) before plugging in, since not LFP. Although I do top up/100%, which I probably shouldn't. Oh well. 2 yrs, and not loss in range noticed, though hard to tell.

Most exciting thing you've done in Thailand

That part was easy for me, and just another day, but a different location. Never really settled anywhere, and moved (followed the money) more than a few times. Best, most exciting thing, is actually living a life, not prepping for retirement. Actually living in a house I like, and not an investment, temp living to be rented out later, when moving on to the next project. A long term relationship, a daughter, new cars, instead of hold me over POS, (some nice & fun...but), along with stress free and not thinking about the future. All pretty exciting and brings a big A$$ smile to my face when thinking about it. Wasn't one to work overseas, so as you say, leaving that comfort zone or 45 years, and actually enjoying living in a country, tropical surfside to top it off on the other side of the planet, is pretty cool. Made easier without any real ties to the old life, or leaving people behind. -
I just picked one up, regret not doing so much earlier. I buy some cheeses (Mozella & parmesan) in bulk (1 or 2 kg). They freeze well, Cheddar you have to grate first, then freeze. Great when making a batch of sausage. Making scapple today or tomorrow. I can't eat peanuts fast enough, and make peanut butter in 250gr batches. It all keeps much longer vacuum sealed.

Bungee jumping ... especially since I'm not a fan of heights. Best thing that happened ... daughter adopted us, legally as parents Best thing I did ... sold 1st house & land, w/POA Honorable mentions: ... quit paying taxes ... quit dependence on petrol fuel ... quit dependence on grid ... getting all my tax dollars back via Soc Sec for past 23 yrs ... and being a blight on society And I'm only 69 yrs old, (next month) Better choices = more smiles -
That will be at the discretion of the officer if stopped. Yet to see any of the many, e-bikes/scooter (non MB size / looking) pulled over and being questioned. Lax enforcement of even the helmet law here/PKK municipality. YMMV, but I'd be surprised if anyone cited for the EMs. Although for same baht, you could get a much better spec'd DECO.

Our latest O&A was a 'drive up' at PTT using EV Station Pluz (EV SP), and not issues plugging in. On a Saturday afternoon, no Q. AND ... machine didn't reset at 55 mins after the hour. Thankfully they did away with that silliness. We never reserve at EV SP. Only reserve, occasionally, at MG & PEA Volta, depending on location of. And only about 10 minutes before arrival, no fees involved to reserve. One thing did happen at EV SP last visit, as I went to P, and stretch legs, after it started charging. Cam back and inside car was warmer than expected, so check why & progress of charging, and it had stopped .... "Honey, you didn't notice that ?" 🙄 Simply restarted it. Don't know if it was reserved and nobody showed, or machine just had an oops.

Been there a few time (give it a fair shake), not for the bar scene, and still wouldn't return. Only plus is more western food, hopefully better options, which I can find most anywhere, though usually don't order out anyway, as disappointing. Beach sucks, and I don't go to a beach to take a ferry to a beach (Ko Larn). Overpriced tourist (trap) sites, that don't interest us. No reason to go east of Krung Thep. If so, then Wang Kaew area, and a beach you can actually swim in, if cooperating, without all the negaitives (congestion, tourist) of Patts. Last thing i want to see while O&A is 1000s of western tourists, or any tourists. I can simply pop up to Hua Hin for that, only 1 hr away.

About the 2 worst place to watch a stranger bag. The constant warnings of notifying authorities if you see an unattended bag didn't seem to sink in then 😮
