  1. I'd consider that a design flaw, a expect it to be covered under warranty. Not that I ever would, but certainly wouldn't let anyone I know buy a Tesla, with warning, if not covered. Also, don't know anyone that would, as better values out that, unless all you care about is an abstract T on the your car. Buy 2 MGs, or 1 Tesla ... hmm
  2. Testing for the flu ... I assume testing for the common cold will be next This alone would be enough for me to chose a different country to visit: "- it will involve taking nasal swabs of arriving passengers"
  3. So someone like Labour MP McDonald calling for an end to violence and people living together, would not be in the dimwit protest ... Got It " "We will not rest until we have justice. Until all people, Israelis and Palestinians, between the river and the sea, can live in peaceful liberty." - McDonald Others, honouring their fallen, for blindly following their leaders, to invade & occupy sovereign countries, would probably fall into the dimwit category ... Got it.
  4. Exactly, at one point or another, direct or indirectly, almost all modern things have been subsidized at one point or another. For the anti EV'er or anyone, to simply point out EVs, is a bit hypocritical. Why people won't simply accept the reality of things is strange. All that aside, I equate ICEVs to 2nd hand smoke, as I'm not forced to indulge, but when I'm outside, I'm exposed to the harmful effects of the product, and simply no avoiding it. My freedom of choice has been removed, to the detriment of my health.
  5. I'm going to need more descriptive info to tell who's who, and which group you are referring to.
  6. to the title ... ... not nearly as much as men. Can they/men get any more boring, why I have few male friends.
  7. Way more important things to do; ... watching the grass grow, topping the list today ... if bored, can always watch to inverter ezgif.com-video-to-gif.mp4
  8. Who's name is on the contract ? If using contract for visa and or extension of, you will need a copy of his/her ID. As other's stated, you should have verified the owner of the property. I have with the past 2 rentals, requested a copy of the Chanote to verify ownership. A common scam, rent out a vacant property they don't own.
  9. Define open ... "According to data from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, there have been 1,973,092 encounters at the U.S.-Mexico border so far in 2023. That number was 1,947,310 at the same point in 2022, 1,332,845 at the same point in 2021 and 350,400 at the same point in 2020." source Up to 5.6X as many since Biden was elected. On topic; yes, that surely has an impact of ACA hospitals and the tax payer IMHO
  10. That's a pretty cool photo, though that could have been taken in a pet shop. Don't know why anyone would want to use someone else's photo, unless absolutely necessary. And really should credit (as I have) the photographer if & when posting. I'd hate to see the forum full of stock photos, as if wanting to see, I'll just search myself. With 10s of 1000s of my own photos, that's highly unlikely.
  11. Along with public trans.

  14. I ask myself that every day ... ... oh wait, now I remember 😎
  15. That might change if you get taxed on you deposit come Jan 2024
  16. I got an idea for topic ... open a thread and see who can out insult each other. ... oh wait, that's every thread. Another day, another ... 'why did I bother' thought. Not much new in the EV or Solar world. .... carry on, see if you can hit 10 pages by tomorrow, or before closed. 2 to 1 odds, it doesn't make past 5 pages.
  17. Very nice 👍
  18. Make that 2 pcs of data now, as ours suffered less than 0.83% battery degradation over the past 1 year / 20k kms. As we average about 360 kms per charge, now states 357. If using WLTP rating of 320 kms, then about 1% If using NEDC rating of 403 kms, than only less than 0.74% Time any of those by 8 years, and less than 8% over the warranty. Along with 8X our savings of 40-54k baht on petrol last year. 320-430k expected while just under 8 year warranty. Times that by another 10 years, and what do you get .... .... your next EV for damn near FREE 🤣 Someone want to tell me again how much more expensive EVs are.
  19. That would be practical, keeping 1 model for the entry level folks, and hope to build some brand loyalty, as they budget allows an upgrade a few years later. Saw the EP 4 sale, and if not for the higher seating of the ZS, along with being shorter, we'd probably have one instead of the ZS, and saved 180k
  20. OK, and ? Didn't state it was going to be the first to have, (since posted previously about the Changan), just that it was going to use the first version of stated battery. My reading comprehension is good, unless speed reading. New news-blip simply having a bit more info/photos, of NATA V. A good thing, as trying to talk my daughter into getting one, as not needing speed or distance, since living in Krung Thep. Has the luxury of avoiding flooding, as public trans can get her to the office when she needs to be there. Works online mostly, and only needs a car for her own business, pick up materials, at her leisure, as needed. Not happy with her Mazda 2 of late. POS and needing a tweak now & then, and only 12 yrs old/175k kms. Still beats monthly payments, and no need to add a new one, since she's stretched a bit thin with RE investments. If price stays under or near 600k, that's a good thing, as don't think she is one to keep a car till it dies. No prob, charging at her condo, and may even be free.
  21. I can pick mine up ...
  22. "NETA V EVs to carry the first 4C LFP battery that adds 400 km after 10-minute charge"
  23. Also another reason why I'm happy I left the USA. The final checks & balance of the Constitution/democracy failed miserably that day. The SCOTUS is not allowed to change laws, but simply rule on their Constitutionality. Rule for it, declare un-Constitutional, and or send it back to be rewritten and submitted again. Instead, they changed the penalty for not buying health insurance from an illegal 'fine' to a 'tax'. Add that to the invasions & occupation of sovereign countries during Cheney/Bush administration, when I left, and so glad I stopped, no longer supported that govt's tyranny with my tax dollars.
