  1. Send it to Fauci & NIH, maybe they can weaponize it. Should be easy for the now ????
  2. I've been that as long as I remember, age didn't bring it on.
  3. See plenty of hotels at MinBuri, (Gmaps) though none showing as pet friendly on Booking.com; Closest I stayed to MinBuri was at Gardenroom Suvarnabhumi, coffee shop with room/dormitory, shared bath, pet friendly. We were the only ones there. Plus, across street from Paseo Mall, and plenty of food. 30 mins away from MinBuri, depending where you want to be. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Gardenroom+Suvarnabhumi/@13.7227654,100.7246183,3a,75y,90t/data=!3m8!1e2!3m6!1shttps:%2F%2Fimages.trvl-media.com%2Flodging%2F46000000%2F45440000%2F45435800%2F45435771%2Ff825d734_z.jpg!2e7!3e27!6shttps:%2F%2Flh3.googleusercontent.com%2Fgps-proxy%2FALm4wwnNTgt1SAntxascHG84dQdn8m04x5-MfpBYpfE1eQrl357OPFqPgtmydXfNq1H_EjrpnA_1Uk9T9kKhtyQKJvaWBDMZ2tw80KhhSyEZPfjShpipcdduNnJ_XL-gFtjH3JKsvTj8GIJ3ZIg3t2JyOn_9eok2PT47AQ64yTZMgCzFobbYCIqQOFcCSA%3Dw203-h152-k-no!7i1000!8i750!4m9!3m8!1s0x311d6726e577f87b:0x5fdd57f5b38e9234!5m2!4m1!1i2!8m2!3d13.7227687!4d100.7247085!16s%2Fg%2F11bycf6v78
  4. Thanks, saw that, but gave it a pass, was 50/50 on it, looked interesting, but low IMDB score. Along with no familiar actors, but that seems to be a plus now of days. Need something, as ran up of others, either ended or didn't start up again.
  5. Especially since so many expats on the forum are quite vocal about wearing them. I see a lot of tanned farangs on their scooters, so assuming they are expats living here. Besides the ones I see every week here. I'm surprised I see so many when at Hua Hin, as I'd think more enforcement would make a difference ... apparently not. Surely there's helmet laws in the home country of the tourist. I also don't get why people do here what they won't or can't do at home.
  6. Wife likes this one, as we were there yesterday, again ???? https://www.google.co.th/maps/place/11°48'40.3"N+99°47'09.1"E/@11.811185,99.7853048,192m/data=!3m2!1e3!4b1!4m4!3m3!8m2!3d11.811185!4d99.785852 Coming out of town, on Prachuapsiri Rd, and just past ร้านกินเส้นประจวบ restaurant and worth popping in for Khao Soi if haven't yet. Just east of Somboon & Prachuapsiri Rd intersection. Sai Jai Coffee is across the street, and just OK.
  7. It amazes me the amount (per capita) of farang tourist & expats ride without a helmet. One guy locally has it strapped to his bike, but not his head. I'd guess 75-90% of farangs I see here, don't where a helmet.
  8. hmm... ... drinking ... no helmet ... no insurance ... leave 5 kids in UK, only 32 yrs old ... with GF on int'l holiday ... family at side, instead of home, saving money, selling something or borrowing on their assets, as he is in a coma, so useless to be here Not winning much sympathy, as life seems to be filled with irresponsibility, that has now caught up to him. 2 weeks in a coma isn't looking too good. Their donation link sucks, not that I was going to contribute, just curious what & if they are close to their goal.
  9. If they are buying mid size cars, then they can definitely afford an EV. Our MG ZS was ฿949k SUV/crossover and more than enough room for any family. Sounds like more excuses me.
  10. If they can afford a new ICE, they can afford an EV. Especially if they go top end of entry level. Here that just about matches the MG EP @ ฿771k, and that's a lot of car for money. Neta V @ ฿549k and basically matches every entry level car here except Celerio or March, low end 3cyl types and considering what they offer, another 100k is well worth the investment, for low cost operation & maintenance. Long run, hard to beat the cost of owning an EV.
  11. I couldn't find much of anything on them. I've seen being used here, but nothing I'd put a 25kg dog on. Luckily my dog is a lightweight (12Kg) and fits in the MB basket. Secure leash to a D-ring, and we're good. She just sits back & chills. Sometimes when get back home, I have to tell here to get the hell up, we're done. I like the cargo trailer, and could put a floor on it, with a tent to provide some shade.
  12. Keep telling yourself that. When I'm on the E-MB, behind fossil fuel burners ... I nose & eyes are telling me, I'm helping solve the problem, instead of being the problem. If waiting for others, politician to lead the way ... ... nuff said Mandates & cash incentives don't seem to be enough for some. There are no reasons, just excuse with hypocrites.
  13. My inverter shows how much/what and where it's going in every direction in real time. panels, grid, battery, load (house). On the inverter panel, and app. along with totals currently used/using and for the day. Not sure about the inverter, but app stores it all in memory, for years. Depending on need, in real time, the 'arrow' may reverse direction as we're looking at, if sun is blocked by a cloud and load is drawn from elsewhere (grid or battery) which we prioritize in the settings. Solar-battery-grid for us, till battery at certain %, then grid if no solar. Luckily, yet to 'need' the grid overnight or at all, since solar installed.
  14. I would think she can do it from any USA Embassy. Asking there, would be better than asking here. While at it, ask what is required, for the correct info, at the embassy she'll be apply at. That's the info you need and best place to get it. I thought that fell under the ol' uncommon common sense. Maybe Google doesn't answer questions nobody asked before.
  15. Maybe you hit a pot hole or speed bump, and now being electrocuted from your EV ???? "Car of the Year" ... damn cheap CH krap ???? https://aseannow.com/topic/1235921-why-so-many-chinese-cars-mg-cars-do-people-only-care-to-buy-something-cheap-whatever-is-the-quality/ Cars of the Year, awarded: MG4 MG EP ... MG5 and new MG EP PLUS win car of the year 2022 MG HS ... 2021 sgCarMart Car of the Year MG ZS EV ... Car of the Year 2022! MG ZS EV wins top award from Driving Electric
  16. Really slow news day. We've gone from: ... RTA with multiple deaths ... with foreigner deaths ... with deaths & injuries ... with injuries ... to any oops, no injuries Wife advised me to be very careful around the house, as she doesn't want a news crew out front of the house if I stump my toe.
  17. I don't trust the water purifier we use at the house, let alone one that someone else is supposedly maintaining. If in the A. Muang, PKK area and need a source for drinking water, can recommend one locally, 18+L @ ฿20 each, delivered weekly or monthly as needed, no minimum or contract. Supplements our rain water supply. Tested w/<deleted> meter @ 5 ppm, so as good as any store bought. For reference filtered tap is 170ppm. Store bought bottled <10ppm, unless mineral water, then usually higher. https://twitter.com/RichardBarrow/status/1104275427378454528
  18. Searched and couldn't find much of any, locally or Thai online vendors. ebay & others offering. Questionable or expensive.
  19. Not seeing much difference between M3 & Yaris. Notable L of Swift is obvious, but that's about it. Wiki states classification by interior space, though you have to wonder, about the M3 & Yaris being different. All of 5 cm or less L W H
  20. Think they raised it as much as they could, before major outrage. When they discontinue the discounts, will that be considered an increase, or just the rates. GO SOLAR ... if you can. Even a small system will benefit your wallet. Especially expats retired and home during daytime.
  21. Never had an 'active' card sent, or asked to assign a pin to it before it arrives. That's just bad business. One to stay clear of. Hope they have better security measures when transferring 1000's from one account to another.
  22. Social distancing ... works Mask ... don't work for multiple reason IMHO
